WAKE UP MUSIC FANS!
The Crawfish has a question for yaz. What do you think the best rock ‘n roll bands are since the 60’s, based on this one criterion….their first 2 albums.
My top few on first contemplating the question…then thinking it over again…checking the first batch of comments at my other blog…then thinking it over again:
1) Boston
2) The Cars
3) Led Zeppelin
4) Van Halen
5) Rush
6) The Blues Brothers
7) Black Sabbath
Damn Yankees
Another category needs to be made. Some bands make huge leaps when they make a personnel change. Here’s that list:
1)
Styx (adding Tommy Shaw)
2) Iron Maiden (Bruce Dickenson replaced Paul Dianno)
3) AC/DC (Brian Johnson replaced the dead Bon Scott)
4) Van Halen (The Van Hagar version)

The party platform that was posted in three parts in this l’il ol’ blog has undergone a minor change. The readers at my other blog suggested a name change, since “crawfish” is not only a crustacean, but also a slang term to back away from danger. Our Party, if it ever really happens, will NOT run away. We will face danger head on. We will face challenges head on. We will face Democrats like Juan McLame head on. We will face socialists like The Empty Suit and Her Thighness head on. We will face anti-Constitutionalists everywhere head on!
Okay, enough of that little rant. The new name is The American Tradition Party, and our symbol will be the American Cowboy. For an explaination of why the Cowboy was chosen, see the link at my townhall blog.
