My Eyes Are Giving Me Problems
I won’t be sharing the “inside of my mind” due to an eye injury. I am not sure what happened but I am in pain and my vision is very blurry. I have to see a opthalmologist this week. I have been dealing with this problem for about 2 weeks. I am not sure sure if I injured them while doing some yard work and got some something in them or it has another cause that is yet to be determined. I have been told by my local ER that I have a scratch on my cornea. I am not a happy camper at this point either way. I just want to get better!
I assure you that I will be very snarky when I heal up! Check out for my blog next week if all goes well!

Feel better! A scratch on the cornea is very painful. Wear sunglasses and/or put a patch on it, keeping that eye closed for a while. Hopefully they gave you an ointment for it. OH, DO NOT use commercial eye drops. It will hurt and slow the healing process. Just FYI

I have never had a scratched cornea, but if a speck of dust in the eye can be as debilitating as it is… I am sure a scratch has got to be terribly painful. Get well! I hope your eyes heal quickly.

Julie,
I had a piece of a nail shear off when I hit it with a hammer and a fragment went into my eye. They deadened the feeling and took what amounted to a drill and drilled out the piece of steel It was an erie experience but it didn’t hurt at all. when they drilled it out.

How’d you get the scratch (to begin with).??? If you were out raking leaves in the yard, and the wind blew a leaf into your eye, you might have gotten some mold off the leaf deposited inside the scratched area, which is virtually guaranteed to make it worse.
-(did you get the e-mail I sent about liberal tactics? NOT saying that we should reciprocate, just be emotionally/mentally prepared for it, and “be the adult” in the situation)-
