We now have a list of 18 Vichy Republican Senators who believe that support of terrorists is a qualification for the office of Attorney General of the United States. The roll call of the vote to confirm terrorist supporter Eric Holder included the following people who need to be removed from the GOP immediately: Alexander (TN), Bennett (UT), Bond(MO), Chambliss (GA), Collins (ME), Corker (TN), Graham (SC), Hatch (UT), Isakson (GA), Kyl (AZ), Lugar (IN), McLame (AZ), Murkowski (AK), Sessions (AL), Snowe (ME), S.P.E.C.T.R.E. (PA), Thune (SD), and Voinovich (OH). We expected that out of known Democrats-posing-as-Republicans Collins, Snowe, S.P.E.C.T.R.E., Graham, McCain, and Voinovich, but the rest need to be held accountable for their actions as well. Thankfully, The Crawfish’s Senators, Cornyn and Hutchison, stood up for America and against terrorists, but will probably be pilloried as “racists” for opposing the Obama-Holder team.

Have you found anything in the mainstream media about the left wing junk that is in the “stimulus” bill? Of course not. We’ve already exposed the fact that the Dems are giving ACORN a big chunk o’cash, and now another liberal activist “community organizing” group is scheduled to get $90,000,000.00 of YOUR MONEY! The Wall Street Journal has more of the projects that are proposed to spend YOUR MONEY, including a frisbee golf course in Austin, TX (City motto: “Keep Austin Weird!”), and MORE neon in Vegas so that city can be seen with the nekkid eye from Jupiter!

You know it is really a bad bill when socialist France REJECTS an Obama-style “stimulus” bill in favor of one that seeks to stimulate corporate and infrastructure investment. Obama, Red Nanny, and Reid…too leftist for FRANCE! I couldn’t come up with this if I tried.

Of course, President Obama says we’ll face a “catastrophe” if Congress doesn’t pass the “European Socialism Bill of 2009” (aka the “stimulus” bill). Wrong answer, Bucko. We face a catastrophe if that anti-Constitutional bill DOES pass!

Leave it to the left to bring false numbers to the argument when trying to pass their socialist agenda. Red Nanny says that America stands to lose 500 MILLION jobs per month unless we act now. If our entire workforce is less than 250 million, that means each of us stands to lose 2 or more jobs per month. That’s almost as stooooopid as Obama saying he’d already visited 57 states, with more to go, during the campaign. How do these dolts get elected?

While they plan on spending $900,000,000,000 (plus interest) of YOUR tax dollars implementing their socialist programs, while calling it a “stimulus”, the Democrats are also going to spend $100,000 or more this weekend on a luxury vacation. As Orwell wrote, some pigs are more equal than others.

For all of the Iraq War naysayers, The Crawfish brings you news that Iraq just had another successful and peaceful election that is bringing forth a strong and viable central government. To somewhat quote President Obama, WE WON!

Don’t you love how liberals expect all of us to abide by rules and laws, but they don’t have to? When He was inaugurated, He put forth an Executive Order regarding lobbyists, and then proceeded to violate that order multiple times with his very nominations. To paraphrase Leona Helmsley, rules and taxes are for little people.

President Obama continues to throw away the traditions of the White House and respect for the office. First, he turns every day into casual Friday, then he cranks the heat up to Hawaiian temps in spite of saying that Americans just can’t keep their thermostats set at 72 and be accepted by the rest of the world. Now he disses the USMC Band and turns his appearances into piano-bar lounge lizard central.

I’m sure that this will be a shock to my readers, but HHS nominee Tom Daschle never missed a chance to vote for HIGHER taxes during his Senate career. As one GOP Senator said on the Sunday shows this past weekend, Democrats don’t mind voting for higher taxes, ‘cause they’re not going to pay them anyway!

Speaking of Puff Daschle, this is NOT the first time that he has been caught cheating on his taxes! He was nailed cheating in 2004’s Senatorial campaign by his opponent, John Thune.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: PMSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell says the GOP will be blamed for Puff withdrawing his nomination, ignoring the fact that he is a multi-time offender as a tax cheat. Nice try, ditz, but the American people aren’t so stoooopid that they believe every Obama Administration talking point dictated to them by the media.

It gets better. His nominee for the new position of Chief Performance Officer (didn’t Monica have that job a few years ago?), Nancy Killifer, IS ALSO A TAX CHEAT and is withdrawing her name from nomination. As Michelle (***sigh***) Malkin reports, Killifer will announce her reasons for dropping out, and it will probably be the all-inclusive “family reasons,” which is lib-speak for “I got caught by the right-wing extremist internet media!”

The socialist state of Taxachusetts is not only raising taxes on their own people and implementing more taxes daily, but they are trying to order a company in New Hampshire to charge Mass. Sales taxes on Mass. residents shopping in tax-free New Hampshire. Don’t they realize that their authority extends ONLY over their own state?

ICE is considering building a detention center for illegals in the El Lay area. The center would house up to 2,200 illegals awaiting deportation. The Crawfish says that it should house up to 10,000 at a time, but none of them should be there for more than 3 days. It is beyond time to round up all illegals and fast-track deportations.

PC Run Amok Award for this week goes to a country club in Middlesex, Britainistan. The town name can have the word SEX in it, but a cricket team can no longer use the name “Crusaders” because it might offend some muslims. Well, Islam offends me, so anything that offends Islam is a plus in my book. Hope I didn’t upset CAIR too much with that comment (snicker, snicker).

Runner-Up for that award goes to a perennial contender, the City of Berzerkeley, Californication, for having a Nuclear Free Berzerkeley Act that all companies doing business in the city must comply with. Of course, the biggest employer in the city, and the driving force of its economy, is the University of Californication, which does nuclear testing for the US Government. Liberal hypocrisy strikes again.

The Crawfish loves a good dose of schadenfreund (look it up). Veep Biden mocked Chief Justice Roberts for his screw-up in administering the oath to President Obama, but Gaffeman Joe turned around and screwed up administering the Oath of Office to SecState Hillary! Clinton. Of course, the mainstream media somehow didn’t notice.

If this isn’t a case of God working in mysterious ways then I don’t know what is. “Tiger” gets The Crawfish’s salute!

The president of the NAACP says he will hold President Obama accountable for his promises. Don’t worry, Mr. Jealous, we’ll all be keeping him accountable for his promises and his actions. (How’d a racist, victimhood-mongering group like the NAACP get a leader named Jealous? That’s just 100% W-R-O-N-G!)

The El Paso, TX, City Council needs to be drug tested after voting 8-0 on a resolution asking the federal government to end the prohibition of narcotics.

Babs Boxer (D-Californication) is rushing Glo-Bull Warming legislation through Congress in an effort to get this anti-US economy bill made into law while there are still more than 1000 Americans who still believe in Human Origin Global Warming And Similar Horrors (HOGWASH).

The early leader in the running for Arrogant Jerk Of The Year (non-politician category) is Manny Ramirez and his girlie hair for rejecting a contract that would have paid him $25 MILLION for standing around in the outfield and scratching his…okay, fixing his hair and sunglasses. For that kind of money, he should hit .500 with 80 home runs, ZERO strikeouts, and no errors. Go get a haircut, jerk!

Not long ago I read a joke … It said all the politicians running for president are promising change to the American people We send them billions and billions of tax dollars and they send us the change.
Funny?
Not really; there is too much truth in it to be funny.
That got me to thinking … They all promise change. How about if they run on a promise of restoration rather than change. A restoration that would take us back in time to a place where things ran better, smoother and life was more enjoyable. Change? That, in truth, is what they have been giving us all along.
We used to have a strong dollar … Politicians changed that.
Life used to be sacred … Politicians changed that.
Marriage used to be sacred … Politicians are changing that.
We used to be respected around the world … Politicians changed that.
We used to have a strong manufacturing economy .. Politicians changed that.
We used to have lower tax structures … Politicians changed that.
We used to enjoy more freedoms … Politicians changed that.
We used to be a large exporter of American made goods … Politicians changed that.
We used to be an openly Christian nation … Politicians changed that.
We used to teach patriotism in schools … Politicians changed that.
We used to educate children in schools … Politicians changed that.
We used to enjoy freedom of speech … Politicians changed that.
We used to enforce LEGAL citizenship … Politicians changed that.
We used to have affordable food & gas prices … Politicians changed that, too. … and one could go on and on with this list.
What hasn’t been changed, politicians are promising to change that as well if you will elect them.
When, oh when, is America going to sit back with open eyes and look at what we once were and where we have come and say, enough is enough?
The trouble is, America ’s youthful voters today don’t know of the great America that existed forty and fifty years ago. They see the world as if it has always existed, as it is now.
When will we wake up? Tomorrow may be too late. When will America realize .. Politicians are what is wrong with America ?
What needs to be changed are the Politicians!
