I apologize for being late with today’s column. Mrs. Crawfish and I had a lot of things to get done all day long, and I never even touched a computer.  Buckle up, ‘cause the bumpy ride’s about to begin for this week.

The House Judiciary Committee has voted 15-12 to throw out the First Amendment to the US Constitution. They voted on “hate crime” legislation that would make it a crime for Christian religious leaders to preach what the Bible actually says, namely that homosexuality is an “abomination” unto God. What part of “Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof” is so hard to comprehend?

A Justice Department attorney says that the world’s only EX-Marine, Rep. John “ABSCAM” Murtha (D-Union Goonland in PA) was acting within the scope of his official duties when he went on a TV show to call the Haditha Marines, who have all been exonerated, cold-blooded murderers. That supposedly means that the slander lawsuit against him should be thrown out. I suggest that he (and all of you reading this) read Article I, Section 6, Paragraph 1 of the Constitution of the United States, for that states EXACTLY when Congresscritters are immune from prosecution. Television studios are not mentioned.

If President Obama follows the advise of some of his foreign policy advisors, then he will NOT change from the policies of the Bush Administration, no matter how many of his far-left supporters screech.

A key Democrat Congresscritter is suggesting that some of the climate-control bills that Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy is pushing for might need to be shelved for this year as they have little to no chance of passing in the Senate. Of course, by the time next year rolls along, even more of the American people will have noticed the actual scientific data that proves a) the planet is now in a cooling cycle, and b) man has nothing to do with the temperature cycles of the planet, but solar activity DOES!

The UN’s top torture envoy (what the *#^#% is a torture envoy???) states that the US MUST prosecute the Bush Administration officials who authorized the enhanced interrogation techniques. Dear United Nations, you are cordially invited to take a flying leap at a rolling donut, and then to p-off!

Some folks have been wondering how to destroy the United Auto Workers union in order to save the auto manufacturing industry in the US. Well, it appears that the way to do it is to allow the union to commit suicide by becoming majority owners of Chrysler!

The Crawfish is glad to see that his alma mater, Chapman University, made it into a news story. The story itself is just confirmation of what anybody who has been paying attention already knew. The mainstream media is giving Barack Obama much more coverage than Bill Clinton and George W. Bush COMBINED, and it is also much more favorable than that of either of His predecessors.

Meanwhile, the Narcissist In Chief has requested that all of the television networks give up primetime airtime this Wednesday evening so He can give a speech to the nation telling us how GREAT He has been over the first 100 days of his reign. Fox Network and Fox News Channel have passed, choosing to keep their normal programming on. ABC, CBS, and NBC will perform their designated slobbering duties.

Maybe this is just one more reason to completely seal off our southern border, and this one is finally getting some attention from Homeland Security Ditz Napolitano, but as of Tuesday morning, there were only about 40 confirmed cases in the US, with no deaths or even serious conditions. The media is going ape over the story, but is there any attention to the number of deaths caused by illegal aliens driving drunk over the past month?

Meanwhile, some Democrats are blaming the GOP for opposing funding for pandemic preparedness in the “stimulus” bill. If the funding was needed, then it should have gone through on its own, not as a non-stimulus item in a bill that is supposedly being ramrodded through to provide an instant “stimulus” for the economy.

We all know about Bill Clinton’s trail of dead bodies, with over 40 mysterious deaths related to the Clinton scandals, but now we have a President who has the touch of death literally.

As I said on Saturday, the Obama Administration is intentionally destroying our intelligence gathering capability. Does anybody care to even ATTEMPT to dispute the facts that show their plan to be the complete destruction of the USA?

Here’s a pretty good video of the Congressional hearings involving The Prophet Algoracle from last week. The discussion isn’t on how to make our planet cleaner, but rather on which type of tax to implement on the American people. Do they put in place a carbon tax or the cap-and-trade tax? The Prophet says that he wants BOTH! Folks, it has NOTHING to do with climate change, but it is ALL ABOUT POWER and putting the people of America even more under the thumb of government. Congresscritter Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) says that a study by MIT shows that the cap-and-trade version would cost the average household over $3000.00 per year for electricity…and Fat Al wants to add a carbon tax on top of that?

You know it’s gonna be a bad week when the Teleprompter Of The United States and its mouthpiece can’t seem to get on the same page during one of their speeches.

One of Obama’s first acts as President was to order transparency in government. Too bad that one of his nominees has a history of performing the kinds of actions required of real Obamites. He had to settle a lawsuit involving counting illegal ballots to get a Democrat elected and covering up the action. Sounds like he worked for ACORN.

This past week, Bawney Fwank blamed Republicans for the housing collapse, but here’s video of Fwank speaking in the House that shows him pushing for home ownership for folks who ain’t qualified.  Don’tcha just hate it when the internet remembers what politicians conveniently forget?

The Somali pirates tried to board an Italian passenger liner Saturday night, but were driven off by the gunfire of an ISRAELI private security team.

This week’s winner of The Golden DUH! Award is the White House Military Office, for their photo op of Air Force One flying low over Manhattan without first alerting the public to expect some aerial activity over the city. Folks were panicking all over the area, thinking that another 9-11 type attack was about to happen. Note that The Crawfish is NOT blaming the Administration, but rather the White House Military Office.
