Why is it that these Monday columns are either very light or very heavy with no middle ground?

What happens to freedom of expression under a fascist-socialist regime? Why not ask the people of Venezuela, and then think of what the team of Obama-Pelosi-Emanuel-Fwank-Schumer-Reid is planning?

It appears that the Administration and Congressional Democrats are bowing to public pressure and dropping the “public option” of the Obamacare plan. While the single-payer system has always been the main goal of Barack Obama, HHS Secretary Kathleen “I love partial-birth abortion” Sebelius put the Administration spin on the developments saying that the public option “not the essential element” of Obamacare. As per usual, the Obama Administration is lying to the American people. Then again, Howard “YEEAAAAARRRRRGH!” Dean is saying flat-out that the Dems WILL pass the Obamacare bill WITH the single-payer system and Obama WILL sign it before the end of the year. Michelle (***sigh***) Malkin goes so far as to call this apparent retreat nothing more than a trial balloon to gauge how the Dems on the Hill react.

Dan Calabrese, whom The Crawfish’s readers seem to enjoy, has a politically incorrect look at this trend of deliberate lies from our esteemed Administration. If the positive comments about Dan keep coming, I’m going to have to feature him here in The Claw every week. If you enjoy his columns as much as I do, tell your local newspaper to pick him up (he does have a newspaper-friendly version of this column available through North Star Writers Group).

After initially denying that such an e-mail list exists, the White House is now blaming third parties for their list of e-mail accounts that got the unsolicited David Axelrod Obamacare e-mail recently. Sure…get caught with your hand in the cookie jar and blame the person who bought the cookies.

Looks like the Washington Times is really on the ball. Now they’re actually reporting that the unions are trying to pack the rooms at all of the Obamacare town hall events, especially the ones where the Community Organizer in Chief is speaking. They even quote AFL-CIO boss John Sweeney’s August 6th memo to all of the nation’s unions, “The question for us is: will we let them make health care ‘Obama’s Waterloo’ or will we make it the next big step in our march to Turn Around America?” and other calls to action, and detail how the unions have been heeding the call. Of course, readers of The Claw and GunnyG’s “Anti-Liberal Zone” already know most of the info in that story, but it is good back-up.

The Democrats are not even bothering to cover up the union dominance of their meetings anymore. Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Old Folks Home at Disney) is holding his town hall meeting at the local headquarters of…A UNION! The union says that they have nothing to do with the meeting, but union members will be manning the microphones to make sure that no unsavory questions are put forth. This is yet another example of union thug tactics out in the open. This comes after Tim Bishop (D-Noo Yawk) held his meeting, as Michelle (***sigh***) Malkin reports, at the local branch of the SEIU! Poor scared liberals running for cover behind their brain-dead union thug minions.

Oh, and WHICH side of the Obamacare battle is the heavily funded one? I thought the Democrats were trying to say the opposition to Obamacare was organized and paid for by the GOP and K Street. Do you mean to tell me that the Democrats LIED to the people…AGAIN?

The Psychotic Midget with the Funky Hair and High Heels is at it again. Now he’s threatening to unleash his nukes against any countries that make any provocations and threatening war over sanctions. Wouldn’t it be nice if he cared as much for the welfare of his own people as he does rattling his sabres.

It’s probably just a pipe dream at this point, but how sweet would it be to have one of the Democrats’ mid-term losses be the Senate seat held by the arrogant Babs Boxer of Californication?

Ohgoodgosh. The celebrities have been announced for the 9th season of “Dancing With The Stars” and they include a 62-year old former House Majority Leader, Republican Tom “The Hammer” DeLay. I know who the producers at ABC are hoping to turn into a train wreck.

His Majesty King Barack I took the opportunity during a press conference with the President of Mexico and the Canadian Prime Minister to again spit in the eye of patriotic Americans while in a foreign nation. This time the Narcissist in Chief called opponents of amnesty “demagogues.” So just exactly what is wrong of us to believe in national sovereignty and legal, regulated immigration?

One of the ministers in the Israeli government has come out and said that some of Barack Obama’s policies are “borderline anti-Semetic.” The Crawfish wonders why he bothered with the “borderline” part of the statement.

Hey, bud…how’s that “stimulus” workin’ for ya and for the nation? Well, when that question was used last week to poll adult Americans (not registered voters, just adults), a 57% majority said that the “stimulus” has done nothing for the economy or made it worse. The other 43% are still blinded by The Messiah’s Hopeandchange Show.
