Wow. Is it Friday already? This week gave us puh-lenty to talk about, but first we should all observe a moment of silence for Robert Novak.

Yep, we called it. After stories leaked all over the media over the weekend saying that the Administration was backing away from the single-payer “public option” part of the Obamacare bill, The Arrogant One (aka Press Secretary Gibbs) came out Tuesday and insisted that the Administration was NOT backing away from the socialized medicine plan. The readers of The Claw were unanimous in their beliefs that the info from the weekend was either just a smokescreen or a trial balloon. Looks like the howling from the extreme left wing of the Democratic Party was heard loud and clear at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave…or that was His plan all along.

Speaking of people who say one thing but really mean the opposite, Brett Favre signed a two-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings a mere 3 weeks after publicly stating that he was going to remain retired this time. Brett will be 40 in October, and The Crawfish says it is high time that he learned to pronounce his own last name. The V comes before the R, so it is pronounced like the word “favor.” We do read left to right in the English language.

I’ve said it many times, but now there’s even more proof that Democrats want the US to surrender to the Worldwide Caliphate of Islam, even though the most hardcore Democrat voters would be the first people oppressed and killed under Sharia Law. Looks like CAIR’s propaganda has worked among liberals.

Poll Katz e-mailer “Ginny” gets the hat tip for an article pointing out that all of the major corrupt American unions, the UAW being the only exception, have lined up with the Democratic Party to oppose the constitution of Honduras. Yes, our unions are supporting Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, the Castro brothers, and Manuel Zelaya in Zelaya’s attempt to turn Honduras into a socialist dictatorship. Look for their drive to overturn the 22nd Amendment of the Constitution of the United States to kick into high gear soon (look it up…it is already underway), as those same folks try to make Barack Obama President For Life.

I thought Barack Obama was supposed to lead us into a new post-racial era. Well I guess that’s another pipe dream that 65,000,000 idiots believed in back in November. Not only has He quashed voter intimidation charges against the New Black Panthers and said a white cop was wrong for doing his duty because a black racist professor (and Friend of Barack) got inconvenienced, but His attitude has lead to even more polarization among the races in America…and more double standards. What would happen if a major corporation set up a website for just its white customers? Of course it would be shut down immediately. Now if a major company sets up a website specifically for its black customers…

The Claw is once again proud to tell those 65,000,000 idiots “WE TOLD YOU SO!” The election of Barack Obama was riddled with fraud, and now one of the regional leaders of the organization at the heart of the fraud has plead guilty. Another victory for the American people against ACORN.

Under our current healthcare system, a woman in heavy labor is able to get an ambulance or at least some kind of assistance in getting to the hospital. In one of the nations that serves as a model for Obamacare, that isn’t the case. In another nation with socialized medicine, the wait for neurosurgery and other surgical procedures is getting much longer, as the government is cutting back on the number of surgeries that will be available to the people who need them.

Is Teamsters union head thug Jimmy Hoffa Jr. threatening the blue dog Democrats? I’ll let y’all make the call on this one.

In case you needed any MORE reasons to want a secured southern border instead of amnesty, one of the large wildfires burning in Californication appears to have resulted from a cooking fire at a campsite of a Mexican drug cartel’s marijuana growing operation. Yep, these are the people that Obama and the Democrats want to give amnesty, because 95% of them will vote for the socialists.

Some of the nutjobs on the environmental extreme left are screeching that 29 species of plants and animals need federal protection or they will die off! No, they don’t need federal protection. It’s called evolution…deal with it!

The Messiah is once again pandering to the envirowackos on the left by refusing to allow American companies to develop American resources and provide good paying jobs to Americans. There’s a certain former politician who knows all about this issue, and she’s calling Obama out on it.

The Crawfish ain’t sayin’ that NBC and its subsidiaries (PMSNBC and CNBC) are part of the continuing Obama Campaign 2008-2012-2014-etc, but you’d never know it by checking out what is available at their company store. Fox News broke the story, and I’m sure Bill O’Reilly will be all over it, as he has been railing against GE’s chairman Jeffery Immelt and his running of GE and NBC for quite a while. Can you imagine what the outcry would have been if any “news” organization had been selling George W. Bush schlock in their company store?

Ruth Ray from AllMilitary.com gets the hat tip for this little story. All I can say is that the two of them in my household are too dim to get that achievement.

I’m not gonna say that the Democrats are lying in the Obamacare debate, but Senators Rockefeller and Reid, among others, are using falsified data from moveon.org and ACORN to try to get the American people to believe that insurance companies are making unforgivably huge profits, and that their profits have increased by over 400% since 2000. In reality, the health insurance companies have been running profit margins in the 3-4% range, which is actually low for major companies, which are considered successful if their profit margin is about 7-8%. In this video, Rockefeller still can’t understand that if the public option doesn’t have to turn a profit, it will undercut private insurance and drive it out of business, so the consumer will NOT be able to keep the coverage that they are happy with.

Now the Democrats are bringing their Chicago union thug tactics to Congress. Nostrildamus Waxman has sent out letters to all of the health insurance companies demanding financial information for a Congressional investigation, including details on pay and compensation packages for all employees who have made over $1,000,000.00 in a year since 2003 and all receipts for any corporate events held away from their headquarters. The reason for this investigation is that these companies have opposed Obamacare. This reminds The Crawfish of the IRS audits that every notable conservative had to endure during the Clinton years. Now exactly what part of the Constitution authorizes Congress to probe into the pay structure of private companies? Oh, that’s right…silly Crawfish forgot that the Democrats don’t believe that the Constitution is still in use.

One of the media wings of the Democratic Party, CNN, is now releasing a study which blames Glo-Bull Warming on the farming methods of ancient man. Not only is this completely ridiculous, but it ignores the global COOLING that occurred in the Dark Ages and all of the warming and cooling cycles since then, which have been proven to be caused by relative sunspot and other solar activity. Nice try, idjuts, but you get the EPIC FAIL of the Week Award.

Ahhhhhh. It’s good to see that some traditions are making a comeback. In the world of the NFL, the Oakland Raiders were known for a long time as the bad boys of the league, playing as rough as the rules allowed (and crossing that line when it suited their purposes) and occasionally getting into fights with the opposition and sometimes their own teammates. Over the past decade or so, the Raiders went soft, as did their winning percentage. Well, it seems that the combative attitude may be making a comeback with the Silver and Black.

The War on America has reached a new low. The Democrats now want to reduce the amount of healthy food products available to the American people, and reduce the income available to farmers. The Crawfish is just surprised that this story came from the liberal rag USAToday.

A FEDERAL judge has set a January court date on a case to decide whether or not a state’s constitution is valid under the US Constitution. California’s Proposition 8, which was legally passed by the voters and therefore is now officially part of the state constitution, banned heterophobic marriage. The FEDERAL case is to try to say that Prop. 8 makes heterophobes less equal under the law. First of all, the Constitution has nothing in it about the rules and regulations of marriage, so the Tenth Amendment applies…in other words, the federal court has no jurisdiction. Secondly, the heterophobes ARE equal under the law. EVERYBODY has the same right to marry whomever they please, as long as that person is: unmarried, of legal age, not a blood relative 2nd cousin or closer, mentally capable of making such a life decision, in the state in a legal status, human, and of the opposite gender. There. Case closed.

Two organizations that are major players in the Democratic Party, the ACLU and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, conspired to threaten the security of our nation by compromising the identities of several CIA officers in photographs shown to terrorism suspects. The next time a Democrat says that they are for a strong national defense, raise the big brown flag with the yellow letters B and S on it.

Senator Teddythedrunk (D-Chappaquiddick) wants a state law in Taxachusetts to be changed, in order to help preserve his legacy. The current state law, which was changed in 2004 at Kennedy’s suggestion in case John F’ing Kerry (“did I tell you I served in Vietnam?”) was elected President while Republican Mitt Romney was still Governor, states that a Congressional vacancy is to be filled by a special election within five months. Since much of the extreme left-wing liberal agenda depends on a filibuster-proof Senate, Teddythedrunk is concerned that his impending death might leave the GOP a chance to block some of the legislation that he adores. The Crawfish still doesn’t understand why the docs can’t get all of the brain cancer in Teddythedrunk. There’s only 3 brain cells in there that aren’t cancerous or completely pickled so it’s not like they can really damage anything by cutting away whatever looks possibly cancerous. As far as changing the state’s laws goes, I’d prefer that they change the laws in order to immediately convict him of voluntary manslaughter.

The Democrats in the Senate are trying to pass a resolution to change the Constitution, despite the requirements of ¾ of state legislatures passing an amendment. They don’t want Governors to have the authority to make temporary appointments to fill vacant Senate seats. Could it be that they see the GOP taking a bunch of Governorships in the next two election cycles?

Meanwhile, in Noo Yawk, a judge has struck down the appointment of a Lieutenant Governor by Governor Paterson, noting that the state constitution says that the position cannot be filled in any way other than statewide election. What is it about Democrats and their disdain for anything called a constitution?

Oh, great. Now the bastages are going after one of the ways us guys try to get our ladies into an “agreeable attitude.”

Wish that the video that Fawn sent us would be on every
tv station every day.
Maybe it would wake up more people who are just content
to let our world crumble around them - so long as it doesn’t
interfere with whatever their daily pleasures are.
