It’s been a long time since we last heard from Dennis Kucinich (Moonbat Extraordinaire-Ohio), but CNSNews caught up to him and asked if Osama Bin Laden should be given a lawyer and the right to remain silent if we were ever to capture him. His reply was, “I think that everyone who is accused of a crime should have the basic rights that are afforded. I mean, that’s what America’s about.” These idiotic Democrats keep thinking that the WAR of Islam vs the rest of the world is just a series of unconnected criminal activities that can be countered with vigorous prosecution.

Please tell me y’all saw this one coming as soon as the Affirmative Action Attorney General announced that he was going to unConstitutionally give Constitutional rights to illegal combatants (aka Islamic terrorists) involved in the 9-11 conspiracy. The “defendants” are going to use the trial to publicize their anti-America philosophy, with the explicit blessings of the Obama Administration and the Democratic Party. This is in addition to exposing all of the methods and personnel of the CIA that they have seen. Is this just an unfortunate side-effect of the decision, or is putting America and the Bush Administration on trial one of the main objectives of the decision?

In 1983, Iranian-backed terrorists murdered 241 US Marines in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2007, a federal court ruled that Iran was responsible and ordered the Iranian government to fork over $2,650,000,000.00 to be paid to the families of the murdered Marines. Now, Barack Obama and Eric Holder are going to court to have that order quashed. Yes, Barack Obama and Eric Holder are now officially siding with terrorists against the United States Marine Corps. Did we really expect otherwise?

Along the same lines we find three SEALs who are going to Court Martial because they captured a terrorist, who had previously killed Americans, and the terrorist ended up with a busted lip. Yes, the PC bovine excrement from DC has gotten all the way down to our Special Operations troopers. They’re got to apprehend terrorists as if they were city cops arresting a shoplifter.

Rick Perry, Governor of the Great State of Texas, has directed the state’s education commissioner to NOT agree to the yet-undetermined national education standards that the liberals in DC are pushing as a requirement for the Race to the Top “Stimulus” funds. Since we all know that the liberal standards coming from DC will include lots of “diversity”, the heterophobe agenda, and everything EXCEPT real American history and the Constitution, this is another reason for The Crawfish to stand for Rick Perry!

Why do the people of Meeeeechigan keep electing liberals who perpetuate the kinds of economic conditions that their state finds itself in? Senator Levin is one of those continually re-elected morons. He’s suggesting a…insert TA-DAAAA music sounds here…new tax in order to pay for our military mission in Afghanistan! The Democrats’ answer to any problem is to raise taxes and/or government involvement. Wouldn’t it be better for the government to CUT SPENDING instead of wrecking the economy even more by raising taxes again? When will the people wake up and realize that the areas of the nation that are always the most crime-ridden and are in the worst economic shape are dominated by Democrats and unions?

And by sheer coincidence, we have a new study that ranks cities by criminal activity. How many conservative cities are found in the top ten? Well let’s take a look at the top ten: 1) Camden, NJ 2) St. Louis, MO 3) Oakland, CA 4) Detroit, MI 5) Flint, MI 6) New Orleans, LA 7) Birmingham, AL ’8) Cleveland, OH 9) Jackson, MS and 10) Memphis, TN. Not a single one of ‘em is run by conservatives. Go ahead and scan the list and tell me where the first mention of a non-liberal city is. The Crawfish’s home city is down at number 150.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao should have expected this since he does have The Apologetic One by the economic short hairs.

And now for something completely different: The celebration of the dehumanizing of women in the name of Political Correctness and “diversity”. How in the world is putting a burkha on Barbie supposed to provide a positive image for little girls?

A number of years ago, the Pope said that Catholic politicians who support abortion through their words and votes should be denied Holy Communion at the least, and possibly even excommunicated. No Roman Catholic bishop in the United States took this seriously at all, until 2007. In that year, Bishop Thomas Tobin ASKED Representative Patrick Kennedy to refrain from taking Communion. Recently, Bishop Tobin changed his stance and ordered all priests under his jurisdiction to refuse to give Kennedy Communion because of his support for abortion. Why didn’t the Catholic Church excommunicate the whole Kennedy family years ago?

How’s that Hopeandchange working out for those who voted for Barack Obama solely on the basis of his skin color? Methinks the appropriate term is “oops!”

The Democrats and the media (sorry for the repeat) were really optimistic when they announced that the economy had shown a sharp uptick last quarter. Too bad the numbers they trumpeted had to be revised downward.

Steven Hutson of North Star National explains something that The Crawfish has been saying for years. Kwanzaa is a fake holiday and a fraud brought forth by a Black Nationalist who has almost no knowledge of African history.

Obama’s “Regulatory Czar”, the radical Cass Sunstein, has come out in favor of government censorship of conservative talk radio and conservative internet sites because of the “lies” that they spread. One of the big “lies” that Sunstein rails about is summed up with this statement, “Some right-wing websites liked to make absurd and hateful remarks about the alleged relationship between Barack Obama and the former radical Bill Ayers.” Too bad for Sunstein that the relationship between Obama and the STILL radical Ayres has been proven time and again. He has proposed a “First Amendment New Deal” that would include “compulsory public-affairs programming, right of reply, content review by nonpartisan experts or guidelines to encourage attention to public issues and diversity of view.” While the last “New Deal” was an attempt to side-step a large part of the Constitution, this one is just designed to bypass the First Amendment.

Now most of us who have the benefit of being able to observe things beyond our own office doors have known for a long time that the man-made global warming theorists are nothing but frauds, since we’ve been able to notice the relationship between sunspot activity and global temperatures (proven a couple of hundred years ago). We’ve also noticed how during times of earthly temperature rises the polar ice caps on MARS also shrank, and there are no coal-fired power plants and SUVs on Mars. Well, it seems that the “scientists” who have been getting paid to perpetuate the fraud have been BUSTED in their collusion by a bunch of hackers. Not only have they been falsifying their data, but they’re trying to get all e-mails back and forth erased. Andrew Bolt has a column in the Australia Herald Sun that includes a bunch of the e-mails between the fraud perpetrators. Even the Washington Post felt it necessary to cover the story. Watch for this story to grow legs this week everywhere except the liberal lame stream media. Townhall blogger “Jesse ‘The Mind’ Norman” has a nice rant on the subject, including information on how to contact The Prophet Algoracle directly. GOPHER IT!

In another blow to the Obama Administration, it now appears that “Science Czar” John Holdren is right smack in the middle of the ClimateGate scandal.

How high is the price to get a political wh0rre to vote to overturn the Constitution of the United States and brag about it? It appears that the going rate is now approximately $300,000,000.00.

Is there a single Democrat politician who isn’t involved with some kind of corruption? Noo Yawk Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s campaign took in tens of thousands of dollars from law firms that represented clients that Cuomo’s office had accused of wrongdoing or was investigating. Standard Democrat Procedure.

This is rich. The Democrats in Congress are now working on a “jobs bill” that they hope to pass before the end of the year. Since when has any Congressional legislation actually produced non-gummint jobs? Is this an admission that the “stimulus” bill failed? Considering that all of their other bills are designed to destroy the American economy, is their “jobs bill” going to read “This bill revokes all other legislation passed by Congress since September 2008”???

Can any member of the terrorist cult known as Islam be trusted in the United States? Here’s yet another example of why that answer is NO!

We’ll end this edition of The Claw with an e-mail sent to me by an old Navy friend:

My teacher said I was being disrespectful. She’d asked us what our favorite animal was, and I’d said, “Fried chicken.”

She said I wasn’t funny, but she couldn’t have been right. Everyone else in the class laughed.

My parents told me to always be honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef.

Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal’s office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too. Then he told me not to do it again.

The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. I told her it was chickens. She asked me why, just like she’d asked the other children. So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.

She sent me back to the principal’s office again.

He laughed, and told me not to do it again. I don’t understand.  My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn’t like it when I am.

Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most.

I told her, “Colonel Sanders.”
