USS Carl Vinson ~ Aid to Haiti

The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson maneuvers off the coast of Haiti. Carl Vinson and Carrier Air Wing 17 are conducting humanitarian and disaster relief operations as part of Operation Unified Response after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake caused severe damage near Port-au-Prince, January 12.

    Are any permits required for flying the helicopter for my shoot? No special permits are required specifically for the helicopter’s operation. With any large production a permit is required for filming.
