2-1-2012 The Weekly Claw

Ahhhhhh. We are back to our normal posting day in the middle of the week. Since I just posted on Sunday, this column will have an abundance of articles about Ron Paul that I was saving for another special “Paul is an Idiot” column.

A) We’ll start off with something that hacks me off, and the anti-Constitutional explanation by liberal Romney-Republicans. The Florida legislature, lead by some of Romney’s minions, have drawn up their new redistricting map, and in doing so have purposely made it much harder for REAL conservative Allen West to retain his seat. The new district will now include far more registered Democrats than Republicans. Why would they do such a thing to a rising star of the party? Simple. West is a conservative and a favorite of the Tea Party. He is also a true leader. In other words, he is everything Mittens Romney is not. The RINOs explain that they had to draw the maps that way because of the Voting Rights Act, which is applied to the southern states that had a big history of discrimination and Jim Crow laws. Since this act does not apply equally to ALL states, it is by definition unConstitutional.

B) Can you believe that any Presidential candidate would say these words? “Why don’t they quit once the so-called harassment starts? Obviously the morals of the harasser cannot be defended, but how can the harassee escape some responsibility for the problem?’’ Ron Paul is actually defending such passages from his 1987 book. This guy is actually getting votes from people who consider themselves sane?

C) The Inventor of the Internet is not gonna be pleased with this story. According to research data just released by the British Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (from where the whole Glo-Bull Warming e-mail scandal erupted), the warming cycle ENDED in 1997. Yes, Al Gore has been verifiably full of crap on this issue for 15 years. In spite of this bit of scientific FACT, his minions are now on a crusade to force television weatherguys and weathergals to be Glo-Bull Warming activists. They are highly upset that the local meteorologists concentrate on their own localities and the short-term, along with the tidbit that only 31% or so believe Al Gore. To quote Colonel Nathan R. Jessup, “YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!”

D) So what is Ron Paul’s voting record on conservative issues? An examination of the facts might surprise some Paul supporters.

E) Michelle (***sigh***) Malkin has come out and made an endorsement, and it just so happens to be the candidate that I believe to be the best of the GOP bunch. Take a look at Michelle’s reasoning behind her pick of Rick Santorum.

F) Ron Paul even has his own Saul Alinsky/Jeremiah Wright figure in his background, a man who has helped Paul develop his foreign policy ideals. Robert Pape has worked with CAIR and Hamas to develop propaganda that blames the US and Israel for Islam’s hatred of all things non-muslim. One of their key points is that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism committed by Islamic and Islamist groups. All terrorism is because the US has been bombing the arabs for two decades and because Israel is “occupying” muslim land. Sorry, but the following command from the pedophilic false prophet Mohammed, which is contained in the charter of Hamas, was written over 13 CENTURIES ago: “The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”

G) For those who do NOT believe that Islam is in the process of conquering Europe, please note that they are already trying to ban dogs from cities that have growing populations of the Followers of the Pedophilic False Prophet, and are instituting Sharia Law in other areas. A great (x17 or something) grandfather of my wife once led an army to stop the muslim invasion of Europe. Where is today’s Charles Martel?

H) The Second Worst President in American History was asked what he thought of Iran possibly already having their first nuclear fuel rod. He answered: “Well, of course, the religious leaders of Iran have sworn on their word of honor that they’re not going to manufacture nuclear weapons. If they are lying, then I don’t see that as a major catastrophe because they’ll only have one or two military weapons. Israel probably has 300 or so.” Hey Ron Paul Wannabe, Israel has weapons for self-defense. Iran has pledged to destroy Israel. If they get a nuke, they will use Hezbollah or Hamas to set it off in Tel Aviv. You don’t have any problem with that? On top of that, he believed what the religious leaders told him? What a moron. Islam COMMANDS that infidels are to be lied to in order to conceal muslim plans to destroy infidels and conquer the world.

I) For those who were so appalled by the Marines giving golden showers to dead Taliban, we present another episode of This Date in History, and look back ten years. Do you still believe our Marines are terrible animals?

J) The liberal war against all religions except Islam continues. HHS Secretary Sebelius has issued a statement saying that there will no longer be exemptions issued for religious non-profits concerning contraception. In other words, groups like Catholic Charities, who are run by religions that forbid contraceptive use, will be FORCED to provide coverage that offers those services for free. This is yet another reason for the Supreme Court to overturn Obamacare. This is WAAAAAY beyond any Constitutional authority. If it is not stopped now, the next step will be to force these organizations to cover abortions. The Catholic Church is not taking this lightly. Bishops across the country had protest letters read to their parishes during mass in response to this outrage.

K) In 2010, Ron Paul and Bawney Fwank put together a panel of “experts” to propose a plan to gut the American military. The panel was supposed to propose a “sustainable” military and was supposedly made up of people from across the political spectrum. In reality, the panel was made up of people from left wing groups that mostly had ties to George Soros. Does anybody out there still believe Paul when he claims that he wants a “robust” American military, when he has stated that he wants to slash military spending by 74%? The man is nothing but a liar.

L) Speaking of Ron Paul the Liar, he lied about Newt Gingrich being a draft dodger. Of course, Paul loves to point out how he served as a reason of why he cannot possibly be anti-military.

M) Newt is taking the attack to Romney, even as Mittens appears to be winning the Florida primary. Newt noted that in a recent interview George Soros said that there is no major difference between Romney and Obama. Newt also said: “The fact is I don’t believe the Republican party is going to nominate a liberal who is pro- abortion, pro gun-control pro tax-increase pro gay-rights and I don’t think Romney can frankly raise enough money to sustain the falsehoods that are the basis of his campaign.” I’m not as optimistic as Newt on that last point, since the GOP establishment is putting all of their money on the liberal.

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” –Thomas Jefferson

1-14-2012 The Weekend Claw

The Crawfish must apologize to his readers for not posting any columns last weekend. My hard drive died and the recovery disk was junk. I had to get new disks from HP after replacing the drive unit. I also had problems restoring my files and even lost a ton of internet bookmarks, which will reduce the variety of sources used for these columns until I remember all of those sites.

A) Ron Paul and the Democrats don’t want y’all to notice how China is building up their military forces and making threats around the South China Sea and Indian Ocean, but at least the US Navy is still paying attention. In case y’all have missed it, which is easy with the lack of media coverage, China is now operating their first aircraft carrier, with plans for many more. They are also flight testing their first stealthy strike fighter. They have something like 40,000,000 more men than women, and the only way to start balancing that out is through a very bloody war. They still wish to conquer Taiwan, and now they wish to dominate the entire region.

B) The Taliban and Afghan leader Karzai have their turbans in a twist, and that means the Obama Administration has to get miffed. It seems some Marines were filmed urinating on some dead Taliban. There is outrage galore. The Noo Yawk Slimes will probably run it on their front page for a month or two, like they did with Abu-Ghraib. The Crawfish counters this wailing and gnashing of teeth with a couple of points. First, why is this considered outrageous behavior, when beheading innocents and holding up the head on video isn’t, nor is shooting dozens of school kids like at Breslan? Second, it was probably the closest thing to a bath that those Taliban had received in the past decade. The only thing that offended me was the fact that the bodies were still recognizable as humanoids. That means that the Marines didn’t use enough firepower or explosives. Go watch HBO’s “The Pacific” and tell me that these Marines were sooooo bad.

C) The Obama-Holder war against religion, which is just a small part of the war against religion (except Islam) being waged by the Democratic Party, the media, Hollyweird, and powerful leftists throughout the USA and the world, was delivered a solid kick to the junk by the Supreme Court. In a UNANIMOUS decision, the Court ruled that the Constitution does not allow the government to have any say in the decision of a religious entity, in this case the Lutheran Church, to hire or fire a minister. A female had been trained and accepted as a Lutheran minister, but evidently did something to convince the Church’s governing body that she was unfit to be a minister for their Church. When they fired her, she claimed discrimination. The Obama Administration, seeing another opportunity to diminish religious liberties in America, immediately joined her case. Chief Justice Roberts and the entire Court stood tall for the First Amendment. Now, will they do the same for the anti-Christian aspects of Obamacare?

D) Here is The Crawfish’s nominee for “Mother of the Year” for 2011. This young lass lost her husband to cancer on Christmas Day. Then she had armed men trying to break into her home on New Year’s Eve. She went to protect her baby, and called 9-1-1. She told the operator that she was armed and asked for a police officer to respond immediately. The operator let her know that it would be okay if she shot to defend herself after the men got into the house. One perp eventually got arrested. The other one assumed ambient room temperature. Whenever a liberal brings up gun control, just remind them that when seconds count, as in this case, the police are always just minutes away.

E) Poll Katz e-mailer Bill sent along word that President Obama is considering a 40% tax on aspirin. Evidently this is because aspirin is white and it works.

F) The judge for the trial of former Democrat Senator and Vice Presidential nominee “Silky Pony” Edwards says that Edwards has a “life-threatening” condition. Did he run out of hairspray?

G) Here we go again with liberals at an unConstitutional government agency running amok. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is warning employers that any requirement that a job applicant be a high school graduate or equivalent violates the Americans with Disabilities Act. Where does the Constitution give the federal government the authority to interfere with the private business contracts between an employer and an employee, and since when does not wanting an education qualify as a disability?

H) A one-month old in New Mexico was raped and murdered by an illegal alien in the first week of 2012. Since the perp was a non-dryback, the major media and the Obama Administration acted like nothing happened.

I) Speaking of media cover-ups, there was a mass murder in the Fort Worth-Dallas Metroplex on Christmas Day. Members of a family were shot to death while opening their presents. The killer was the estranged Dad, who was there in a Santa suit. The cops said that motive was “unimportant”, which is unusual until you notice that the killer was a muslim who didn’t like the fact that his family was not adhering to Sharia Law. They had become Westernized, so he did his religious duty according to the Quran and the faithful Followers of the Pedophilic False Prophet. Whenever the motive is Islam, the media, the Democratic Party, and some law enforcement agencies consider the motive “unimportant” or “unknown”.

J) While Sultan Bu’raq bin al Obama and his party refuse to acknowledge Islamic terrorism, they are also failing to acknowledge that there are now 35 Islamic terrorist training centers around our nation. Of course, since these people are not white Christian veterans they are to be ignored by Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano.

K) Here’s more on how Obama, the Democratic Party, most of the media, and Ron Paul are ignoring the truth about the Muslim Brotherhood, Islam, and Islamists. Then again, are they ignoring the truth or are they just trying to shield the truth from the American public?

L) Check out this graph from the St. Louis Federal Reserve and note how national debt as a percentage of GDP has shot up since Harry Reid took over the Senate, which coincided with Nancy Pelosi taking over the House, and Barack Obama being a Senator. Then watch it go much higher after Barack Obama became President. Yes, those numbers went up under W, but it took Democrats to make them skyrocket.

M) I brought this story to y’all a few months back, as a co-worker of mine was from that area. Now it has FINALLY gone to SCOTUS. Some of the Justices, especially Justice Alito, seemed to be highly offended by the actions of the EPA and the government. Let’s hope that the rights of property owners are, for a change, upheld.

N) His Majesty took the time to jack with American military personnel and their families over the Christmas holiday. The man has absolutely zero respect for our men and women in uniform. He’s in it for the power and whatever perks he can squeeze out of the taxpayers. I’d say that he is a jackass, but that would be an insult to Democrats and other jackasses.

O) It must be nice to live in a world completely void of reality, like Debbie Wasserman Shultz does. Here’s the latest quote from the one brain cell wonder: “You know, I’m a hundred percent confident that the people of Iowa and the American people will win the day on November 6th of this year when President Obama is re-elected because of his policies, because of the fact that he has brought this country out of the worst economic disaster that we faced since the Great Depression and the people of America know.”

P) Hmmmm. It looks like someone needs to be arrested next January! We know it won’t happen under the current Administration.

Q) The Administration and Incompetano’s Department of Homeland Insecurity screwed up big time. They had officers with semi-automatic weapons set up a checkpoint outside of a Florida Social Security office, and they were checking IDs. I thought checking IDs was only something those RAAAAAAACIST Republicans wanted to do!

R) Meanwhile, there is evidence starting to pile up showing that many non-living people and people who live in other states are indeed voting in elections. James O’Keefe and his organization even made videos during the New Hampshire primaries showing election officials handing out ballots in the names of dead people. Just imagine what it is like in Chicago! Now remember that the two main lines of reason that the Democrats are using in court action against voter ID laws are that the law disenfranchises the poor, especially blacks, and that voter fraud never happens in the US. This kinda shoots that last one down.

S) Barack Obama’s drunk driving illegal alien uncle STILL has not gone to trial. On top of that, his lawyer is demanding to get a copy of the driving record of the cop who arrested Uncle Onyango. What does the COP’S driving record have to do with the illegal alien driving drunk? Why would any judge allow this tripe? The judge must be a good Democrat hoping for an appointment to the federal bench.

T) Those folks at Solyndra, you know…the ones who got a $500 million gift from Obama and an illegal change in bankruptcy laws so that they got to keep some of the money in order to make donations to Obama and his friends…well, their bankruptcy attorneys were in court asking the judge to let the company hand out bonuses, supposedly to keep their remaining workers at the company. One worker who made over $206,000.00 last year would get another $50,000.00 if the plan is approved. I’m sorry, but if that person made over $200K last year, they don’t need any more of the taxpayers’ money. If they want to pay bonuses, they should pay them from the pockets of the people who have profited from Obama’s gift and from the campaigns that received donations from that company.

“[A] wise and frugal government … shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.” –Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, 1801

12-3-2011 The Weekend Claw

This week, Barack Obama said “I’m going to need another term to finish the job.” Looking over the first term, we can only assume “the job” is the destruction of the United States.

A) Debbie the Ditz is back, and she has bleated “They know they can’t win elections on the merits, so they’re trying to rig elections” in response to continuing efforts by Republicans to pass laws requiring that voters be able to show proper identification in order to vote. Yes, the GOP wants to rig elections by preventing people from voting multiple times, preventing people who are not eligible voters from voting, and preventing the dead from voting.

B) If the liberals want to see how elections are rigged, they really need to look either into their own sordid past, or they can look at what is happening in Russia right now. Vlad the Emperor never really went away, and his ultimate goal is to bring about a new semi-Soviet empire. Now he has levied charges against the only internationally-respected election watchdog group that operates in Russia just ahead of the elections. That effectively takes them out of the game. Vlad and his puppet-President are also “spreading the wealth” in order to gain some more votes, just like the Democrats always do here. In a more ominous bit of news, it is also being reported that the Sovi, …er, Russian Army is to be awakened on election day with pleasant music and to be fed a “celebratory breakfast”. This sounds like the tradition of many armed forces on the morning of an expected battle.

C) The Democrats are touting a sharp drop in the unemployment rate this week, but they are missing the key to that drop. Look down in the article and you will find that more Americans gave up looking for jobs this week than new jobs were created by an almost 3:1 ratio. That means things got WORSE, not better.

D) For many years, Barack Obama has been heavily involved with Antoin Rezko, most notably regarding some very shady property deals in Chicago. Now that Rezko has been found guilty of corruption and sentenced to 10 ½ years in prison, the media is happy to note Rezko’s involvement with former Governor Blago, but they fail to mention his associations with The Won. I wonder why…

E) This is what we call a Core Obama Voter. Dumb-bass black chick has FIFTEEN kids from at least three sperm donors, and she expects the rest of the country to pay all of her expenses. She should have kept her knees together.

F) Newt Gingrich is going to catch a lot of flak from the liberal media for these comments regarding inner city youth in our nation, but he is 100% correct. This has been the plan of the Democratic Party ever since LBJ’s “Great Society” programs were first proposed. This is the result of the liberal plantations. Those people will vote for the party that promises them money for nothing.

G) How serious is the Fast and Furious/Gunrunner/Gunwalker/Castaway scandal becoming? Here’s a hint for ya: the Obama Administration has now ordered that the court records dealing with the murder of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry be sealed. Agent Terry was murdered by illegal aliens on our side of the border who were armed with weapons that the Obama Administration had funneled to the drug cartels on the other side of the border with the intent of using whatever violence occurred as an excuse to further erode the 2nd Amendment. The Obamites know that where there is a ton of smoke, there is a fire. Didn’t Obama promise the most transparent Administration in history? It sounds like the most criminal Administration in history to me.

H) The Obama Administration tradition of the Friday Evening Document Dump is alive and well. This tactic is continually used to release bad news when they believe it will gather the least media and public notice. This week’s dump is 1364 pages detailing how they have LIED TO CONGRESS regarding the Fast and Furious scandal. Lying to Congress and lying under oath are major felonies, so will the GOP have the gonads to press charges and send Obamites to prison? Yeah, right, only in our dreams.

I) It gets worse. The supervisors of the illegal operation have all received promotions, while the whistleblowers have all been screwed over. Retaliation against whistleblowers is a violation of federal law, and in the original Fast and Furious hearings, Senator Grassley made sure to point that out. So why has the retaliation been allowed to occur? Dear Congressional Republicans, grow some balls!

J) Here we go again with a federal court stepping WAY outside of its authority. According to the Constitution, Congressional districts are drawn up by state legislatures every decade, following the Census. Congress may alter the way they states draw up their maps, but this alteration process must be done equally among all states, not just those from the Old South. Courts have no authority to draw up the maps. The Texas legislature drew up new Congressional maps, including four new districts based upon the 2010 Census, and these maps reflected the GOP majority in the state. Racist groups filed suit in federal court, stating that the new district maps should be drawn up based upon skin color according to the Voting Rights Act. A federal court agreed with the racists, drew up its own version of a 36-district Texas, and ordered it to be implemented. The Texas Attorney General, Greg Abbott, has filed an emergency stay application with the Supreme Court to block that unConstitutional action.

K) Nancy Pelosi calls herself a “devout Catholic”, but her actions and words prove her to be as anti-Catholic as the Kennedy family. She is unabashedly pro-abortion. This week, she went so far as to lash out at Roman Catholic bishops who oppose provisions in Obamacare that force people to purchase healthcare plans that pay for abortion, sterilization, and other contraception methods even if such things are counter to their religions. Since they oppose such anti-Christian regulations, she says that they are nothing more than “lobbyists”.

L) Here’s some more proof that the entitlement mentality is way out of control. The Filthadelphia School District got rid of their underperforming Superintendant and gave her a buyout of over $900,000.00. She turned around and filed for unemployment benefits! First of all, if she wasn’t doing her job properly, why did those idiots give her that much of a buyout? Well, I mean besides her skin color. Secondly, why does she deserve MORE taxpayer money if she has that much in the bank?

M) Our nation is broke. We have over $15 TRILLION in debt, thanks to liberal policies of the past 80 years. The full folly of liberal policies is on display in Europe, as the Euro is about to collapse. In the face of this news, what Sir Golfsalot of the Intrepid Sand Wedge do? He and Fed Chairman Bernanke are going to join with other idiots and bail out Europe. What mythical money is going to be used for this? Didn’t we already bail them out with with the Marshall Plan and trillions spent on NATO? On top of that, isn’t Europe our COMPETITION in manufacturing and trade? The sad thing here is that even Ron Paul would oppose this and he doesn’t have a clue on foreign policy.

N) Bawney Fwank is FINALLY leaving Congress. The Democrats and their media minions are praising Fwank as much as possible, saying that he helped save America from economic collapse. The FACT that he is one of the people responsible for the crash of Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac (which was the lynchpin of the 2008 economic downturn) and the economically devastating Dodd-Frank law seems to have been lost on these enemies of the Constitution.

O) The Crawfish has attended Gathering of Eagles rallies and Tea Party rallies. Those groups ALWAYS clean up the area and leave it in as good or better shape than they found it in. Contrast that to the “occupy” brats in El Lay, where they left behind over 30 tons of refuse for the city to dispose of.

P) The “occupy” idiots should really try to read this column. It may be a bit difficult for them to comprehend, but…

Q) This is exactly why Barack Obama supported the protesters against Hosni Mubarak. He is in favor of an Islamist government in Egypt.

R) Byron Thomas is a college student in South Carolina. He has taken a controversial position, and he seems to understand history better than most Americans.

S) How in the world did the GOP let this get through the Senate? With NINETY THREE VOTES, a Defense appropriations bill has passed the Senate, but it has one provision that should have caused a filibuster. The provision removes the offenses of sodomy and bestiality from the Uniform Code of Military Justice, making queer sex and sex with animals perfectly okay for our Armed Forces. The Democrats are hell bent on destroying our professional forces.

T) After playing some disgustingly insulting “music” (a “song” called “Lyin’ A___ B____”) to introduce Michelle Bachmann on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”, the house band’s leader is now claiming that he’s getting a lot of….wait for it….RACIST e-mail and tweets from “Tea Party extremists”. Did the people who rightly flooded his Twitter account with insults ID themselves as Tea Party members? He’s lucky that he didn’t get bricks through his home and car windows.

10-29-2011 The Weekend Claw

Congratulations to the Texas Rangers for pulling off the biggest choke job in Texas sports history. Forty seasons. Zero championships.

A) Once again, an anti-American atheist group is suing a high school because they dare to pray before football games. The atheists once again say that the school is violating the First Amendment’s “establishment clause”, but they obviously have never read said clause, for it reads: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. Since this is a school or school district making the decision to pray and not Congress making a law, the “establishment clause” is not applicable.

B) That story dovetails nicely with this one, as it involves education, religion, and stooooooopid objections. An investigation has begun by the DC Office on Human Rights (why in the *@#@%^ does a city have that kind of entity?) responding to a complaint against a private Roman Catholic university by muslim students who are offended by the Christian symbols in all of the rooms. That’s like going to a strip club and being offended by nudity. We already over-accommodate muslims in America. When they allow a Catholic cathedral in the center of Mecca, we’ll discuss making more allowances for them here.

C) Here’s more of that liberal “new civility” from line-reader Orlando Jones. I’m happy to say that I do not believe I have spent a single dollar on any of his movies, and I don’t think I ever will. If any white male conservative had done this, he would have been arrested and charged with making a death threat.

D) How in the world do you get an eeeeevillll former Enron trader (they were all Republicans, according to the Democrats and the media, but I repeat myself), who is a billionaire (so he must be a Republican since he is not Warren Buffet) from Texas (where there are no such things as white heterosexual males who are not Republicans) and heads up a group trying to convert all public employee pensions into 401(k) style investments (which hacks off all of the public sector unions) to head up and host a fundraiser for Democrats with the star of the show being none other than micHELLe Obama? This is putting a lot of Houston area Democrats in a big quandary.

E) HYPOCRISY ALERT! (as if the previous stories didn’t give you enough) California is slashing Medicare and Medicaid funding, meaning the poor will have less healthcare available to them. The Obama Administration is giving their blessing to these cutbacks. So here we have the most liberal state legislature in the nation, with perhaps the most liberal Governor in the nation, cutting spending for the poor with the permission of the most liberal President in history, and the media is mum. What are the reactions from the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) when Republicans even mention cuts to social programs?

F) While he’s out on the “I’m really doing government business, not campaigning on the taxpayer dime” campaign trail, Barack Obama is claiming that over 60% of his 2008 Hopey-Changey campaign promises have been fulfilled. As is the norm when dealing with statements by Barack Obama, he is lying. Then again, math is not his strong suit so he could have just been proving his ignorance of reality…again.

G) Speaking of facts and Obama’s lies, the richest Americans already pay more than their fair share. In fact, the United States has the most “progressive” taxes of all the major industrialized nations.

H) Barack Obama is giving a huge nod to the “occupiers” by putting forth Son of Son of Son of So-Called Stimulus. This time, he is going to be federalizing student loans and only making the folks who took out the loans only pay back the taxpayers a very small fraction of what they borrowed. The idea is to cap student loan repayment rates at 10 percent of a debtor’s income that goes above the poverty line, and then limiting the life of a loan to 20 years. If The Chosen One wants to do something about college affordability, he should attack the colleges and universities. Because they are so heavily subsidized and give full pay and tenure to professors who teach two classes per week, the cost of college education has risen 439% since 1982.

I) Here is a great story that exposes a big reason why our public education system is so poor. In a word, it is liberalism. Hat tip to my co-worker, Ed.

J) Hot Air has a daily feature called the Obamateurism of the Day. The one from Wednesday showed the insatiable ego and self-recognized superiority of the only President in history who is worse than Jimmy Carter.

K) Severe criminal conduct and the oppression of those who stand for the rule of law has been the hallmark of the Obama Administration, and many members of this cabal have been engaging in such behavior for years. This Thursday’s column by Michelle (***sigh***) Malkin spotlights another member of the LEAST transparent Administration in history and her less-than-legal actions in support of the great liberal gods of abortion. When will the Republican Party grow a set large enough to prosecute criminal actions by Democrat leaders?

L) The “supercommittee” was charged with reducing the deficit by $1.2 trillion over a decade. So why are the Democrats in that group trying to spend MORE in yet another so-called stimulus plan? Could it be that they wanted this group to fail so that draconian cuts can be made in national defense and they can blame Republicans for it?

M) Paul Ryan  is going to be one of the greatest conservative politicians in modern history. Here he is once again absolutely schooling Barack Obama on divisive rhetoric and economic reality.

N) Get this! The White House is ordering a review of the loans to Solyndra and other “green” energy companies. Watch for this “review” to completely whitewash any mention of Obama donors and bundlers or any other political connections involved with the loans. Everything will get blamed on some junior junior staffer or the eeeevilll Republicans.

O) So who is out there helping to organize the “occupiers”, raise money (fraudulently it seems) for them, and further their efforts? Could it be Barack Obama’s old “community agitat…er, organizing” group ACORN? You bet it could. There are also other groups behind this junk, and their trail leads directly to people such as Mayor Bloomingidiotberg and the Community Organizer in Chief.

P) Kasim Reed, the Mayor of Atlanta, shut down the “occupiers” and retook Woodruff Park for the people of Atlanta. As Neal Boortz points out, the “occupiers” screech of “This is what democracy looks like” as they were being evicted from the park is actually making the point of the real people of America. In a true democracy, majority (or mobs) rule. In a nation/state/county/municipality with the rule of law, you get permits for large gatherings on public grounds. When the time limit on said permit has expired, you must get the *(#$%@ out!

Q) I must give a language warning for this story and the embedded video of the “occupier” known as “Conan the Occupier”. This spoiled rich kid is a professional student who is transitioning to teaching assistant at Columbia University. Evidently he is quite allergic to the real world, so he will spend his life in academia if possible.

R) “Occupiers” at the Phoenix protests are handing out fliers describing when it is okay to shoot a police officer. Did the mainstream media report any of this? Nope, but they sure opined that the Tea Party protests were full of violent anti-government rhetoric that could have lead to escalations, even though they could never show any such rhetoric on their mass volumes of video and audio of those protests.

S) Then there’s the Portland “occupiers”, who vandalized, urinated on, and danced on a war memorial. Yep, just like the Tea Party, right?

T) Congresscritters from both sides of the aisle are now seriously questioning Barry’s Great Ugandan Adventure, with some even pointing out how this resembles some of our early involvement in Vietnam.

U) It is always a good day when union leaders get arrested, as happened in Noo Yawk this week. Now of course we know that the charges must be local or state in nature, since The Affirmative Action Attorney General’s Injustice Department would never prosecute union thugs in the Era of The Won.

V) If this were to happen in a Republican administration, the media would be up in arms, but since it is the Obama Administration that is requesting the censorship of anti-government posts on You Tube, the media is strangely silent.

W) If any of you are still seriously considering Mitt Romney as a GOP nominee, you need to read this. Then again, I doubt if any of my regular readers are dim enough to support another Taxachusetts liberal flip-flopper.

X) I’ve posted it before, but this cartoon needs to be seen on a regular basis.

10-19-2011 The Weekly Claw

This quote just came in from Uncle Sam: “Where am I going…and why am I in this handbasket?”

A) Hispanic groups are very upset with the National Football League. You see, the NFL has awarded Arizona the 2015 Super Bowl, and that doesn’t sit well with those who support illegal immigration. The head of the biggest Hispanic racist group, LULAC, said: “In light of Arizona’s hate-based legislation, the action taken by the NFL serves as an endorsement of the state’s abhorrent actions against the Latino and migrant communities.” What part of Arizona’s law is “hate-based”? It only upholds our national laws regarding illegal immigration. Hispanics who are here LEGALLY are not affected by that law. Arizona has nothing against LEGAL immigrants. So being a sovereign nation with enforcement of its own borders is the sign of a “hate-based” society? On the other hand, these folks definitely love California. That state just passed a law stating that the state, counties, or cities cannot mandate that all businesses verify that their new hires are legal to work in America.

B) The “occupiers” refuse to believe that their completely incoherent movement is being used by all sorts of left-wing anti-Americans, but take a look at how the teachers unions are orchestrating some of the events of the protests in Chicago. Yes, they are coordinating with other union people (cops) on how many and which people in particular are going to be arrested.

C) The “occupiers” in Noo Yawk have an interesting problem. It seems that a bunch of their members are thieves and are stealing everything they can from their fellow protesters. The “occupiers” shouldn’t complain about it, since they are all for “redistribution of wealth” and other socialist rot. One of them had a $5,500 computer stolen. If you can afford a $5,500 computer, that means you have a pretty good job or really nice parents! My computer only cost me about $1,500 or so.

D) As for the usual cries of “RAAAAAAACISM!”…get used to ‘em again. The left will claim that ever single utterance by a Republican has racism in it. Here’s a good example from this week. According to NBC News, pointing out that half of the workers in America pay no federal income tax is RAAAACIST! Seriously?

E) Jimmy Hoffa is saying that the Teamsters will “hold accountable” Congresscritters who voted in favor of the free-trade agreements that were passed in bi-partisan fashion and gladly signed by President Obama. The Teamsters leadership already opposes the good of their workers by opposing every Republican anyway, so this threat is against the Democrats who voted for the agreements. What’s Hoffa gonna do, tell his people to vote for the Republicans in those Congressional races? Yeah, right.

F) Chewing tobacco is a legal product. Its use may be disgusting to 90% of us, but it is legal. I never have figured out why Major League ballplayers need to have a plug or dip in their mouths to play the game, but a large number still do. Well, they do as long as a few Democrats don’t get their way. Senators DICK “Turban” Durbin, Frank “The Louse” Lautenberg, Tom Harkin, and Richard Blumenthal, all Democrats, want the next union contract with Major League Baseball to include a ban on smokeless tobacco on the ball field. We’re drowning in a sea of debt and overspending, and this is the subject that these four have as their priority?

G) President Obama was left in a completely mute condition on Tuesday. He had no idea how to form a coherent sentence since TOTUS was stolen. Unfortunately for the nation, TOTUS was later recovered, so now we get to hear more about Republicans being eeevillll because they oppose socialism.

H) The left wonders why we don’t trust them when it comes to elections. Maybe it is because they have such a long history of lies and election fraud.

I) Here is yet ANOTHER breaking scandal involving a “green” power company, cronyism, big campaign donations, and hundreds of millions of YOUR TAX DOLLARS. I could do my own commentary, but our great friend Gunny G is on this one like a rat on Cheetos.

J) I’ll say it again. Ron Paul is outstanding on domestic policy, but is either the most naïve politician in the GOP or a sheer moron when it comes to foreign affairs. Now to be fair to Rep. Paul, I did hear part of an interview with him on Tuesday in which he explained many of his previous statements regarding foreign policy, and the explanations were actually reasonable for the most part, but his calls for deep reductions in the defense budget are ludicrous.

K) Why can’t I find a job doing this kind of research? I guarantee that I’d be quite diligent in my duties.

L) Why in the world did Israel accept a deal to get back one kidnapped soldier in exchange for 1027 Palestinian militants, including a number of murderers? The will just embolden Hamas to kidnap more Israelis.

M) Don’t you feel safe knowing that ICE is doing their job so well? I mean it’s not like they have released twenty eight illegal Iranians into the country and lost all track of them. Oh wait…yes they have.

N) With every interview or speech he gives, Allen West becomes more and more the frontrunner for the 2016 Presidential election. This interview sees him 100% correct on a wide variety of subjects, and he brings a sledgehammer down on Obama and the rest of the left wing extremists.

No, I did not watch the Washington Post GOP debate last night. I had better things to do…like work.

A) What is it about the power-mad control freaks of the left, especially in Europe? New EU safety rules now prohibit children from blowing on noisemakers and blowing up balloons. Since when are simple children’s toys such a severe threat to the entirety of a continent? This is the same cradle-to-grave nanny state mentality that the left wants to impose on us in the United States.

B) If this photo does not completely hack you off, you must be a Democrat. Then there is this one, which also shows the mindset of these “people” in the “occupy” protests. They are also calling for people to “kill the cops” among other things. Yes, these are the people that Nancy Pelosi praises, but about the Tea Party she said: “I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw this myself in the late 70s in San Francisco, this kind of rhetoric. … It created a climate in which violence took place. … I wish we would all curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements and understand that some of the ears that it is falling on are not a balanced as the person making the statements may assume.”

C) The “occupy” movement tried to have a big rally in Fort Worth, but the crowd was quite small and completely unorganized. Check out the photo gallery from our local newspaper. Do any of these people really have a clue?

D) Aaron Goldstein delivers some advice from his grandfather to the “occupiers” out there. The message is completely timeless, but is probably not comprehendible to all those with graduate degrees in Women’s Studies or Parks & Recreation. David P. McGinley adds that there is a nation in which most of the demands of the “occupiers” have already been met, so why don’t they move there?

E) As if we needed any more reminders that Mitt Romney is an unacceptable liberal, he received the endorsement of Chris Christie on Tuesday. RINOs of a feather…

F) Here’s something about the Congressional Budget Office’s scoring of legislation that I didn’t know. When it comes to examining tax changes, the CBO must use static scoring, which does not take into effect what the reactions are to any tax increases or decreases. In other words, their scores are only correct if business practices, investment strategies, and personal spending remain the same after a tax change. In other words, this model significantly favors tax increases and says tax reductions will always lower revenue, when history has proven the opposite.

G) According to the official definition of a recession, the current one ended in June 2009. So how come household income has fallen more in the two years since the recession ended than it did during the recession? Sounds like the definition of a recession is a bit imprecise.

H) I keep telling y’all that these consequences were all part of the Democrats’ plan when they conned Boehner in that “debt deal” earlier this year. They have been looking for the opportunity to eviscerate our Armed Forces since they took over the House and Senate in 2006. Now they have the chance to do it without political fallout, since they will be able to blame the eeeevilll GOP half of the “super committee” for not agreeing to everything THEY wanted. (Democrat definition of bipartisanship: when the GOP caves in to every one of our demands and we give them absolutely nothing)

I) The Affirmative Action Attorney General and some of his minions at the Department of Injustice (or is it Department of Social Justice?) announced that they have foiled a major terrorist plot involving the assassination of the Saudi Ambassador to the United States and the bombing of the Israeli and Saudi Arabian embassies in DC. Is this for real, or is it just an act to make Holder’s bunch look competent and honest in the midst of the Fast and Furious/Gunrunner/Gunwalker/Castaway scandals?

J) Speaking of Saudi Arabia, they have once again shown that Islam practices tolerance about as well as the Democratic Party.

K) All I can say about this story is that the constant rain/light rain/drizzle associated with Seattle tends to rust the brains of that noted left-wing city’s residents.

L) Then again, there’s Canada, where brains get frostbite instead of rusting. Check out this reporterette in Calgary, who says gold is backed by nothing, while the dollar is backed by the US government.

9-24-2011 The Weekend Claw

I didn’t have a whole lot of online research time in the 2nd half of the week, so this one’s a bit shorter than usual.

A) The Obama Administration may have said “NO” to new F-16 sales to Taiwan (and to The Crawfish’s job), but there are efforts underway in the House and the Senate to push the sales through anyway. Senator John Cornyn has put up legislation attached to a trade bill, and co-sponsored by Republicans, Democrats, and an Independent, to force the sale, while Representative Kay Granger has done the same in the House. The Senate version could come up for debate as early as Tuesday (9/27). With strong bi-partisan support in both chambers, they just might be able to overturn His Majesty’s kissing of Chinese butt.

B) I know we all tend to refer to The Won and his party as socialists, but the more correct term would be fascists. Then again, they are two sides of the same coin.

C) If any of y’all thought that the jobs bill had anything to do about saving/creating jobs (other than those of Obama and the union bosses), take a look at some of the stuff that is in there. This bill is all about giving power to the federal government and taking it away from the states. It specifically throws out the 11th Amendment. Again, the Democrats will do anything possible to overturn our Constitution.

You simply won’t believe this story until you realize that it happened in Chicago. A union organizer got hired by the Daley Administration to work for the city of Chicago for a single day and then was put on an indefinite leave of absence so he could continue being a union boss. After many years of not working for the city, he is now retired and making $158,000.00 per year as a pension from the city. For ONE DAY of work!

D) Just in case any of you still harbored thoughts of Ron Paul being a viable candidate, the fact that he has stated that he would consider Dennis Kucinich for a Cabinet position is People’s Exhibit 72344 of his lack of fitness for duty.

E) The SEIU’s Stephen Lerner tells a “progressive” summit that the progs need to “create a crisis” for the rich. He advocates all sorts of law-breaking and such, including bringing cities like Houston, Seattle, Boston, and Noo Yawk to a complete standstill. Meanwhile, it is the Constitution-loving Tea Party folks who are on the terrorist watch lists. If any of that law breaking does occur, he should be charged as an accessory or as a conspirator. The evidence is on You Tube.

F) The only problem with this story is that the final act came about a decade late.

G) Rick Perry is trying very hard to lose the GOP nomination. How else can you explain his stupidity in doubling down on his support for TAXPAYER-funded lower tuition rates for illegal aliens? He says you don’t have a heart if you don’t want the illegals to better themselves. WE say you don’t have a brain if you don’t realize that the only taxpayer funds for illegals should be used to prevent their entry, to track them down if they do get in, and to deport their illegal arses once found.

H) This lady got all bent out of shape over a search by a TSA agent within a couple of days of the Afghan Turban Bomber. Kinda reminds me of the old Haarlem Globetrotters cartoon, where one of the guys had anything they ever needed in his ‘fro.

I) This is what you would expect from a company run by left-wing loons. Ben & Jerry’s ice cream now has a flavor named “Schweddy Balls”. It is named after a sexual innuendo from an old Alec Baldwin skit on “Saturday Night Live”.

The Humpty Dumpty Administration is dancing on the top of a very tall wall. This fall is going to be spectacular to watch.

A) How twisted is the liberal mind? Henry Cisneros, the disgraced former HUD Secretary, fully supports illegal immigration. Heck, a large portion of the city he once served as Mayor is illegal (San Antonio). He say that illegals are “the best other societies can send.” Really? Drug gang members and societal leeches are the best other societies have to offer?

B) Howard Dean is happy about a new study that proves Obama’s main points regarding Obamacare (“If you like your plan, you can keep it” and “it will not add a penny to the deficit”) are completely false, and that one third of all private sector employers will dump their private insurance in favor of the government plan. At least he admits that the whole intent was to end private insurance.

C) Is the current state of the White House enough to bring about the return of the Hill-Bill Show? She said when she took the SecState job that this was it for her and politics, but y’all didn’t believe that for a second, did ya?

D) The Affirmative Action Attorney General and his Injustice Department are taking Texas to court, again. The newest redistricting map, drawn and approved by the state legislature, doesn’t add any new minority-specific Democrat-majority districts among the four new ones Texas gets because of the 2010 Census. So let me get this straight. A Republican led legislature is supposed to purposely draw up a new map that gives more seats to the Democrats, or Holder’s bunch will fight it in federal court because it doesn’t jive with the Voting Rights Act? Where does the Constitution give redistricting authority to the feds?

E) We finally found out how Obama plans to pay for his “Save Obama’s Job” bill. As expected, he wants to raise taxes on those who actually hire people by $1,500,000,000,000.00+, despite him having said in the past that raising any taxes during a recession is the wrong thing to do. The Democrats are fully behind him, saying that the Republicans will be seen as just being nice to the rich if they oppose The Won. It is ALL about politics, because the bill and the tax increases would do nothing for employment, except a small spike in construction jobs until the federal $$ runs out. Not a single permanent job would be created by this mess. His plans also raise costs for airline travel, make military retirees pay a $200 fee for no reason other than they are turning 65 and an annual fee to renew their insurance, charge business aircraft owners $100 more per flight, adding fees to mortgage payments, and possibly charge military retirees more for their healthcare (which was supposed to be fully paid for, according to the enlistment contracts, but is already not the least expensive insurance available in some cases).

F) Obama’s obsession with “fairness” is extending into the military, again. The military retirement system was designed to be an incentive for members to serve for at least 20 years. If you stick it out for that long, you get 50% of your base pay (not including allowances and bonuses that typically make up about half of most military paychecks), but that money is still taxable. This isn’t “fair” to those who don’t have the dedication to stay for 20, so it must be changed to give benefits to those who wuss out after 4 or 8 years. So what is the incentive to serve for 20 now? Those folks who have put in 10+ years are the backbone of the military. They are the professionals who train and lead the newbies. Only someone who hates America and our military would propose such nonsense.

G) How bad is Obama’s job performance with regard to blacks in America? Well, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (Donkey-MD) of the Congressional Racist Cauc…er, Congressional Black Caucus said that if this President was anybody BUT Obama, they’d be calling for marches on the White House, but since it is Obama they can’t because that “would empower those who hate the President.” In other words, the only reason they are not calling for blacks to march on DC is because there is a black President. Sounds like raaaaaacism to me.

H) Oh, and that urgent “PASS IT NOW!” bill…won’t actually be ready to present to Congress until sometime next month, after yet another vacation.

I) Meanwhile, the fact that this Administration doesn’t really care about jobs (other than their own) was brought home this week as Peter Schiff, CEO and chief global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital Incorporated not only schooled the Administration in testimony on Crapitol Hill, but he also stated that the current federal government fined his company for hiring too many people!

J) Some things never change. Rahm Emanuel is still using thug tactics as Mayor of Chicago. He actually threatened to burn down the house of someone who opposed one of his ideas. Anywhere outside of Corruptionois, that threat would land him in prison. Meanwhile, when the issue of Solyndra is brought up, Rahmbo channels his inner-Hillary with a series of “I don’t recall” statements.

K) The White House and Democratic leaders tried to say that the special election in Noo Yawk had nothing to do with President Obama, but David Weprin says that the election was indeed a referendum on Obama. He ought to know, since he was the Democrat candidate.

L) Although the Administration and LightSquared execs are trying to say otherwise, a second person has come forth saying that the White House tried to influence their testimony before Congress.

M) With the palestinian statehood issue at the forefront this week, and the Obama Administration sending out all sorts of conflicting signals, Rick Perry unloaded on Obama’s policies regarding Israel. The only thing he left out was that Gaza, Golan, and West Bank are all rightfully part of Israel, since they were won in an attempted war of extermination launched by the arabs. If the so-called palestinians want their own state, let them take lands carved out of Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. The arabs have plenty of land to share with their fellow arabs.

N) The Religion of Peace has struck yet again, and this time the winner of the 72 virgin male camels had the bomb in his turban. If we start inspecting turbans, the rest of the Followers of the Pedophilic False Prophet will go absolutely bat guano.

O) Representative Mike Quigley Down Under (Donkey-Corruptionois) visited an Islamic conference and apologized on behalf of America. When are the muslims going to apologize for all of their atrocities? I haven’t heard a single apology for Daniel Pearl, the Khobar Towers, 9-11, Munich, Rome, or any other terrorist action committed in the name of that death cult. Quigley is officially a traitor, committing the very definition of treason. We, on the other hand, have NOTHING to apologize for in regards to Islam.

P) I wholeheartedly agree with John Lehman on this issue. The PC police have taken over our military, and we have lost many of our true warriors as a result.

9-17-2011 The Weekend Claw

Over a half-inch of rain last night, and the Fort Worth-Dallas area is in a state of joyful shock. We’re still 8.7 inches below normal for the year, but it is a step in the right direction.

A) Ain’t it amazing that the American left wants kids to get parental permission to order french fries with their meals, but they oppose parental notification for teenagers who want to get abortions.

B) The Obama Administration/Campaign Team has defaulted back to their old ways, which resemble the old East German Stasi, the Soviet NKVD and KGB, and the Third Reich’s Gestapo. During the Obamacare debate, they started up a White House website for people to report anybody in opposition to Obamacare. The Crawfish self-reported a number of times. Now they want to turn you into government informants yet again. This time they were smart enough to separate their site from the White House, but they have put up AttackWatch.com where the public is asked to report people or websites that oppose Obama. Once the report is submitted, the user is then told to contribute to Der Fuhrer’s campaign. The Crawfish has already reported his Blogspot site, his RedWhiteBlueNews.com site, and a website for the Constitution of the United States.

C) After reporting myself, I got an e-mail from the O campaign, and here’s part of it:
“Friend –

You’re in for 2012: Welcome, and thanks.

Now forget everything you know about politics.

Because I can tell you that the next 14 months will be like nothing you’ve seen from a campaign. If we’re going to win, we have to be tougher, smarter, and more innovative than ever before.

The President has a job to do, so he’s asking each of us to take the lead in shaping this effort.

That work begins now in your community.”
Yes, you read correctly. “Now forget everything you know about politics” because if you know anything about politics, you know what a complete fraud Barack Obama is.

D) Will somebody puh-leeze show me the person who authorized federal money to be spent on this study, because I personally want to beat him to a pulp. Why in the world do we need a federal study to study the correlation between a homo’s penis size and his sex life? If the Than Franthithco Rump Rangers Club wants to study that with their own money, fine, but why does the National Institutes of Health need that study’s findings?

E) With one-sixth of our people defined as living in poverty, the Obama Administration has a strange solution. His new “jobs plan” includes eliminating tax deductions for charitable contributions. The net effect would be a reduction in charitable services such as soup kitchens. You see, the only jobs he really cares about are those of Democrat politicians and union bosses.

F) The Obama Administration has some rosy predictions about their “Save O’s Job Plan”, and if you believe their best-case numbers, it will build our economy by a whopping 1,900,000 jobs. Using those numbers, which nobody in their right mind would believe, his plan would cost the American taxpayers over $235,000.00 per job. It would work better if it simply gave 19,000,000 people $23,500 each.

G) Here’s a jobs plan for ya. Repeal Obamacare, since it is the biggest impediment to hiring in the next few years.

H) Those wonderful adherents of the Religion of Peace are preparing to declare their independence, and claiming 1/3 of Israel as their rightful lands. They are also openly declaring that Jews will not be welcome in those lands at all. The muslims already have all of Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Yemen, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the UAE, Afghanistan, Pakistan, all the other stans, and Indonesia. They have enough land. Israel has only Israel, which rightfully includes Gaza, Golan, and the West Bank. If the so-called Palestinians (actually mostly Jordanians) want their own land, let them carve it out of the other muslim lands.

I) Meanwhile, the Jewish vote is being lost by The Chosen One because of his blatant anti-Israel policies.

J) The White House has OFFICIALLY stated that illegal immigration is no big deal. Their new official position is that illegal immigration is equivalent to jaywalking. Really? How many jaywalkers take up our jobs? How many jaywalkers absorb thousands upon thousands of taxpayer-paid benefits?

K) Barack Obama has now made it personal. He has officially, and without comment, ruled out allowing Taiwan to buy 66 F-16 fighters, which means The Crawfish will get laid off on Veterans Day. Thanks for selling out an ally and sucking up to our enemy, the People’s Republic of China. Oh, and the International Association of Machinists union will continue to kiss Obama’s exhaust assembly and use MY union dues to support him, even though this decision kills the jobs of IAM 776 members. Once again, the only job he cares about is his own. Look at what Senator Cornyn had to say about the matter, and note that he and Senator Menendez (D-Noo Joisey, hardly a conservative) are still pushing legislation to force Obama to allow that F-16 deal to go through.

L) The GOP victory in the special election for the 9th District from Noo Yawk was monumental. That seat had been in Democrat hands since 1923. Even in the Great Tea Party Landslide of 2010, the Dim-ocrats held the seat with more than 60% of the vote. So how do the Democrats react to this defeat? Debbie the Ditz came out and said that “it’s a very difficult district for Democrats.” Say WHAT? Over 70% of the registered voters in that district are registered Democrats and that’s a “difficult district”???? Baghdad Bob was a better liar than Debbie.

M) An Air Force General was testifying before Congress recently and told members that the White House tried to get him to lie in his briefing in order to support a company called LightSquared, heavily invested by a big Obama donor (sound like Solyndra?). National defense takes a back seat if it interferes with Obama’s cronies.

N) Speaking of Solyndra, in 2009 Solyndra’s CEO said that Obama was “instrumental” in getting the $535 million loan to go through. Propaganda Minister Carney denies it, of course. Then again, there is legislation that makes it illegal for such a loan to be structured in such a way that the taxpayers are not first in line for the assets if there is a default/bankruptcy. That law didn’t matter to the White House either.

O) Our friend Saltwater caught something on Fox News’ “The Five” that must be a sign of the apocalypse. Uber-lib Bob Beckel actually defended a school board against the ACLU. He correctly noted that the school board’s posting of the Ten Commandments is NOT a violation of the First Amendment, noting that this does not “establish” a religion and it is not Congress doing the posting. This is a great on-air discussion.

P) Wow. Now the Democrats are putting forth legislation to completely eliminate the debt ceiling, which would give the government a blank check to drive our nation to economic collapse.

Q) As a pet owner and a father, I like this story.

R) One of the reasons that businesses and farmers are going bust is over-regulation by the federal government. Most of these regulations come from Agencies, Bureaus, and Departments. The Constitution gives regulatory power to Congress alone.

S) More murders and kidnappings have occurred using the weapons from Eric Holder’s Gunrunner Project, but these were just Mexicans so the media will continue to ignore the scandal. Nothing to see here. Move along.

T) Here we go again with another mob of minority “youth” violently attacking whites. This time it happened in Denver. If the colors were reversed, it would cause a national outrage, but with our first “post-racial President”, it is hardly newsworthy.

U) If you think it absurd that Granny and Little Bobby are getting full-body pat-downs before getting on an airplane, you’re gonna flip out when you read about what the NFL wants at their stadiums. This is in reaction to a fan using a taser on another fan in Noo Joisey last Sunday night during the Jets-Cows game.

“In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love; they had five hundred years of democracy and peace and what did they produce? The cuckoo clock.” - Orson Welles

A) The Congressional seat previously occupied by Geraldine Ferraro, Upchuck Schumer, and Oscar Mayer Weiner has gone to the GOP for the first time since 1923, with the Democrat getting less than 40% of the vote. What kinds of shock waves are being felt throughout the Donkey Party leadership today?

B) The Crawfish has been invited to conduct an interview via e-mail with for Dallas Mayor and current candidate for the United States Senate, Tom Leppert. I submitted my slate of 22 questions to his staff on Tuesday. They gave no promises of when the answers will come back to me, since he is still an active businessman and city leader, but they will be featured in a Special Edition of The Claw when I get ‘em. Stay tuned!

C) Folks, I can’t make this stuff up. A fatty in Nanuet, Noo Yawk is suing White Castle Hamburgers because the seat size in their restaurant booths is too small for his lard butt. He is using the Americans with Disabilities Act as his backing, although being a fatazz because you eat too much and exercise too little is not a disability. “I just want to sit down like a normal person” he says. Well, then try losing some weight so you are the size of a normal person.

D) When the new came down that a solar energy company supported by Barack Obama to the tune of $535,000,000.00+ was going bust, we all knew to follow the money trail. The people behind this company are indeed big Obama and Democrat donors, with a whopping sixteen Obama White House visits on his personal scorecard. In the five years prior to the White House money infusion, the company had lost an additional $558,000,000.00+, so everybody and their dog knew that this company was already a bust. Not only that, but the White House made sure that the provisions of the loan put the American taxpayers at the back of the line to recover any remaining money if the company went bust. The billionaire owner gets to sell off the assets and keep the money. Will this scandal, on top of Fast and Furious/Gunrunner/Gunwalker/Castaway scandal finally bring down this Administration? How will Debbie the Ditz and Propaganda Minister Carney defend it? What talking points will they issue to the media?

E) Continuing the practice pioneered by his Democratic predecessors, Barack Obama plans to enact most of his agenda through Executive Orders and regulations from Executive Branch agencies. This practice is highly illegal, since Article I section 8 of the Constitution gives ALL regulatory powers to Congress. It is well past time for Congress to take back the reins of power.

F) The biggest issue facing Rick Perry in his quest for the GOP nomination is his policies regarding illegal immigration. If he were to come out and flatly state that he would accept no plans that include amnesty for illegals, he’d win over a large number of currently uncommitted conservative voters. His stance of no wall spanning the whole border is plausible, since a fence or wall without proper backup will slow down illegals by a whopping 30 seconds. His promotion and signing of the Texas DREAM Act is troubling, but if the federal government is not going to deter illegal immigration nor deport all illegals, the states

G) So how are the policies of Governor Moonbeam and his heavily-Democratic legislature affecting businesses in the formerly great state of California? An online business owner has sent the Gov a nice Dear John letter. Expect much more of this from businesses currently in that state.

H) Mister “Pass this bill!” has sent his bill up to Congress, and it is exactly what we thought it would be. It is Son of Failed Stimulus, and is paid for by making the “rich” (aka those who actually pay taxes) “pay their fair share” (aka pay even more to support the moochers). He said that Congress had to pass the bill immediately with “no games, no politics, no delays” when he has already made it 100% games and politics. He wants it passed quickly so that by the time the public finds out what is in there it will be too late to stop. How is the “Super Committee” supposed to come up with reductions in the deficit when this joker adds in another $447,000,000,000.00+ to the bill? The same tax increases that he is touting are the ones the Democrats wanted to use in that “Super Committee” and almost all have already been rejected by the House.

I) Rat-faced David Axelrod says that the Obama jobs package must be passed as a complete package, stating: “We’re not in a negotiation to break up the package. It’s not an à la carte menu. It’s a strategy to get this country moving.” Sorry, but there are many elements that are complete non-starters and were put in there for Obama campaign purposes instead of for helping the nation. We’re not in a negotiation to pass Son of Failed Stimulus. Then again, the rest of the White House staff, and Obama himself, seem to be signaling that the President will indeed sign any pieces of his plan that get passed even if the rest get nuked. So who screwed up in distributing the talking points?

J) In case you missed it during the Monday debate, Ron Paul once again proved himself to be an idiot regarding foreign policy and the very basis of Islam.

K) The Davis-Bacon Act requires all federal construction contracts to pay union wages, even if the company doing the job is non-union. This costs the federal government billions of dollars every year. If The Crawfish were to, by some act of a God with a sense of humor, become President, I would push for legislation requiring all government contracts to go to companies whose workers are not forced to belong to any organization (or pay dues equivalent) that uses money taken from the workers’ paychecks for political activity. I would also push for all federal property to be right-to-work.

L) The median price of a house in America is about $172,000. So why is the government going to spend $330,000.00+ each to house twelve homeless people in Bethesda, MD, for a single year? That makes absolutely no sense, unless you are speaking with a liberal.

M) I’m all for scientific research and medical advances, but this story just strikes me as really weird. It almost seems fit for a sci-fi “B” movie from the 60s.

N) Remind me in a few years not to let my kids go to Northern Arizona University. Any school that persecutes people handing out American flags on such an important weekend needs to lose all conservative students and all federal funds.
