Jules,
Im here. Since my Boys were taking a much deserved break today after going a terrible 6-1, I decided to go take in a little bit of NASCAR action at Atlanta Motor Speedway. I am just getting home and notice I have moved up to 29th with a good week of 10-2. Go COWBOYS!!! Looking forward to watching the Colts shut the Pats up next week. I'm hoping Dungy keeps scoring even after the game is over, but I know he has way too much class for that. LMAO

I don't get it, I know
I may my picks for week 8 and now something weird has occured. It's showing picks that I supposedly made that I never would have made. !st off, I'm a life long Giants fan, and do you think I would ever pick the winless Dolphins over my giants? And that was just one of the picks that are coming up wrong . The Jets , the Panthers, etc are all wrong picks.., among others.

Hi Julie,
Would have gotten back to you earlier, but I was busy partying in the streets of Boston last night after the Red Sox swept the hapless Rockies in four straight.
The Sox are the only team to have won 2 World Series in the 21st century. And the Patriots are the only team to have won 3 Super Bowls in the 21st century...soon to be #4 as we are all well aware.
I'm feeling sorry for just about everyone else here besides you...Julie. You see, you're Colts are the current world champs, and my Patriots will be taking that title back from them. The Colts and the Patriots are by far superior to all other teams. They are in a class all by themselves. I see no reason for others to even mention any other team, unless of course they enjoy playing fantasy football for the kicks of it.
So for Griff especially, I would like to offer you a free round trip ticket to Boston so that you could rub on some winning sports atmosphere from a city that knows what winning is all about. How bout me offering you a free ticket to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass for this year's American Football League championship game between the Colts and the nation's beloved Patriots. Btw, the Patriots will be 18-0 after beating the Colts on that day. Hope you got plenty of popcorn for this Sunday's game between the two unbeatens. Julie, perhaps you could share some pretzels with Griff, eh?

ptsd,
every dog has his day and for right now you are having yours. enjoy it. when the Cowboys were winning all those games in the 90's I enjoyed it. By the way, anytime you want to compare our 2 dynastys, I have some very interesting stats to show you. These stats will prove that the 1990s Cowboys were the greatest dynasty ever. But anyway, back to today. Congrats. Keep praying the bad karma your team is generating does not bite you. Pray hard Brady never gets hurt. Cause it can all come crashing down with one blown ACL. I find it interesting that the cocky, arrogant, "my s**t don't stink" attitude that everyone says the Cowboys have is being exhibited clearly by your Patriots. I loved Belichicks comment, "Its 4th down in Redskins territory, you're up 45-0 and you go for it." Belichick, in his smug, arrogant, cocky attitude says, "what did you want me to do, kick a FG?" Hmmmmm. Good idea coach. Same idea probably 31 other coaches would have had in that scenario. But hey, leave your starters in during mop-up blowouts. Just remember, the other team is probably getting pretty emotional and the hits are probably going to get harder. But like I said, enjoy it, display your smug, cockiness. You deserve it. Remember this though when the Cowboys take that silver trophy back. Cause then it will be my time.
Oh yeah, not sure which world you are living in, but if by chance the Patriots do win on Sunday, they will be 9-0. Not 18-0. Don't look ahead, thats how you lose.

And unlike Patriots fans, I support my team loudly, win or lose. Just cause someone else is winning doesn't mean I don't mention my team. You should remember that when your team stops winning (and they will, every team does). Don't go hide like you guys have in the past. I never even knew the Patriots HAD fans until 2001 when they won a Superbowl.

Even if you don't like the Packers, you've got to respect Brett Favre!!! He is one of the all-time great QB's and more importantly; he is a man of great character, guts, and heart. Go Pack!

Dear Griff Junior,
Dear Griff junior,
Allow me to make the appropriate corrections to your responses.
The Patriots are just starting their dynasty, with many more super bowls to go for the upcoming years of this new century. The Steelers dynasty far surpassed that one of the Cowboys. Yours is over for good, so don’t feel the least bit down knowing that it doesn’t reflect negatively on you to reminisce of the good ole days now and then.
Kicking a field goal on fourth down would be running up the score. Belichick did the right thing by not kicking for those extra points. The reason the Patriots kept playing is that the coach wants the players to play complete games so that their endurance will be up to snuff in games that mean something, or when involved in the playoffs. There isn’t another coach alive that would kick a field goal in that situation. Slacking off in any game isn’t good for the players. Belichick works his players to the bone despite the lopsided scores. Looks to me like his method is paying off, wouldn’t you agree?
I said the Patriots will be 18-0 after the AFC championship game against the Colts. You need to pay attention, son. Btw, the best fans in the country come from the Boston area, be it for their Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, BC Eagles, and even their Bruins.
Sure would like to see you and Julie post your pick for Sunday’s game between the Colts and the Pats, especially when everyone knows the Pats will win.

ptsd,
Im thinking your name on here some meaning. Junior? Please. Where did you get that? Let me ask you a question there football genius. How often do coaches "go for it" on 4th down? Not very often. How does the old adage go? Put the points on the board? Every coach would have kicked a FG since there was absolutely no need to score 6 points at that time. IT WAS 45-0 IN THE 4TH QUARTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not like the hapless Redskins were going to post a 4th quarter comeback. I mean seriously dude, how can you guys sit here and boast about your great defense and great football team and then in the same breath try to convince me you are worried that a team is going to erase a 45 point deficit in the last 9 minutes of a game? If your defense is that great you have no worries. The only time you would go for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter from an opponents 12 yard line would be if you needed a TD to tie or go ahead. Come on dude, I know football. Don't act like you are talking to some dude who has never watched the game and tell me every coach would go for it in that situation. YOU are the one looking foolish by making that comment. But the going for it wasnt what I was pointing out. Pay attention!! Ready? I was pointing out that the arrogant, cocky attitude you claim to hate about Cowboys fans is oozing out of every pore in Patriots fans, players, and coaches bodies. I'm fine with that too. When you are winning, you have that right. But don't be hypocrites and bash Cowboys fans for the same attitude you have.
Now, with regards to the dynasties, the Cowboys are starting another one. Yeah, ANOTHER ONE. Remember, we have 5, count em, 5 of those trophies. Seems you boys have some catching up to do.
My mistake and I apologize, I misread your quote about the record. Not that it will happen anyway. Hey, remember that team that went 14-2 last year and was all but given the Lombardi trophy prior to the playoffs? Yeah, I think they lost their first game. You are not going undefeated. Keep dreaming.
And the Celtics are chumps (Go Spurs!!!! Yeah, World Champs!!!!), BC is so overrated by the completely impotent BCS and AP polls. And the Bruins?!!!!!! Come on. Congrats on the Red Sox. Impressive win.
My pick? The Colts. Put it on the board. I aint skeered.

I think this year it will be hard to pick the super bowl winner, the patroits and the colt seem to have a lock on the bowl, however the cowboys and the Giants are looking good this year. I had given up on football a little because of the lack of old school concept such as loyalty, and honor to a team. The game is now all about money. But i guess thats life. I understand now that i have to fight the va for disability payment.

Can anyone please explain to me how the new crsc bill will effect the old bill HR 1588. The army combat-related special compensation is a good program for veteran that over 50%. How will the Bob Dole - Shalala commission effect the vietnam era veteran. How will the section (crscwill be reduced by the amount retired pay exceeds the amount equalto 2.5% of members years creditable service multiplied by member`s pay base). This info is on the crsc web site.

Dear Griff,
PTSD stands for (Patriots think Super-bowl destiny).
The reason the Patriots went for it on 4th down was because they wanted to run out the clock by preserving the shutout. You say every coach would want to put the points on the board. What, 45 points wasn't enough? That would be rubbing it in a bit, don't you think? No, instead Belichick decided to run the clock out thus preserving the shutout. Notice he didn't go for the 6 points like you would have done had you been the coach. So who would be running the score up..Belichick by ragging the ball and scoring zero points, or you by kicking a field goal?
This year will be the Patriots 4th super bowl win. Looks like the Patriots will bypass the Cowboys' 5 bowl wins before the end of this current decade. Tell me after the Patriots beat the Colts this weekend, whether you still think the Pat's will be defeated this year, and or if thy might just lose th super bowl spectacular.
Check to see which team has more overall Basketball championships...the Spurs or the Celtics. You might want to check to see where they put the Basketball hall of fame while you're at it. Hint...it's in Springfield, Massachusetts for a reason.
The talk is just starting now for those in the know, but the overheard chatter is that the World Champion Red Sox are the best team that ever played the game. And this current crop of a Patriot team is also being considered the best NFL team of all time...and this is even before they win the super bowl again this year and or next year.

Alright Julie,
You got to promise here and now that when the Patriots beat dem Colts this weekend, that you will be free to marry me despite my already having 3 failed marriages under my belt. I can promise you one thing, by marrying me you will learn how to support a true winning team in the Patriots, and in the interim--you'll learn how to cook them Boston Baked Beans the way I like em...just a little bit burnt around the edges. I promise I won't make you do the dishes while the Patriots are playing, but I may have you try out my two season seats on the 50-yard line at Gillette Stadium for the remaining home Patriots' games.
