Army College Fund
The Army College Fund (ACF) may add an additional $15,000 in educational benefits to your MGIB-AD benefits, for a total of up to $50,000. To be eligible, you must enlist in a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) that the Army designates as critical or for which there is a shortage.

Your monthly benefit amount is based on how much you are eligible for divided by how many months you are eligible. Your months of eligibility are based on your MGIB-AD eligibility. If you are eligible for $50,000 in combined Army College Fund and MGIB-AD benefits, and you have 36 months of eligibility, you will receive $1,388.89 each month you are enrolled full time.

Officers are not eligible.
If you accept the Army College Fund, this could decrease the amount of enlistment bonus offered.
If you enlist with the Army College Fund, you are ineligible for the Loan Repayment Program.
Army College Fund benefits expires 10 years after discharge or release from active duty.
