Army College Fund

Eligibility

You must meet seven requirements to be eligible for the Army College Fund. If you are eligible, AllMilitary.com can help you find schools where you can use your Army College Fund benefits.

  1. No Prior Service

    Have no prior service.

  2. Dates of Service

    Been on active duty between July 1, 1985, and the present.

  3. Diploma

    Have a high school diploma before beginning active duty.

  4. Armed Forces Qualification Test

    Have an Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT) score of 50 or higher.

  5. Military Occupation Specialty

    When you enlist, sign up for a Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) that the Army College Fund has designated as eligible for the program. Usually these are Military Occupation Specialties that are critical or for which there is a shortage.

  6. MGIB-AD

    Enroll and participate in the basic MGIB-AD.

  7. Enlistment Agreement

    Enlist with the Army College Fund as part of the enlistment agreement.

  • If you are offered the ACF, your recruiter will indicate this on your Incentive Enlistment Program Form (DA Form 3286-66), which is part of your enlistment contract.
