The Dallas County Community College District has formally catered to the needs of military members and their families since 1992. Dallas TeleCollege, DCCCD’s online campus gives service members access to the resources of DCCCD anywhere. “Dallas TeleCollege provides flexible, anytime learning around the clock and around the world with our most popular courses starting every month to meet student demand” said Robert J. Rosenbalm, the Associate Dean of Programs and Outreach at DCCCD.
Dallas County Community College District Military Pride Points:
- DCCCD rewards military experience and training with credit when applicable.
- The Military Outreach Program at DCCCD partnered with the Community College of the Air Force and the General Education Mobile to provide general education courses to U.S. Airmen through distance learning.
- Injured veterans and military spouses can apply for textbook assistance through the Ted Pohrte Distance Learning Scholarship.
