Twenty-five percent of students at Excelsior College are active and reserve military service members. “Excelsior military students show remarkable discipline by having the highest course completion rates at the College,” said William M. Stewart, Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement. Excelsior has served members of the military for over 30 years and continues to do the job well.

- Excelsior gives generous transfer credit for career-oriented military training and Excelsior College Examinations (funded by DANTES) are free to military students.
- The Military Spouse Program at Excelsior offers a scholarship for service member’s spouse who demonstrates financial need. Excelsior also offers flexible enrollment options that enable spouses to enroll in undergraduate programs under the terms currently offered to active duty and reserve personnel only.
- Excelsior offers reduced tuition rates and fees for military service members.
