Eligibility

You must meet five requirements to be eligible for VEAP. If you meet these requirements,  AllMilitary.com can help you find schools where you can use your VEAP benefits.

1. Service Entrance

   Entered the service for the first time between Jan. 1, 1977, and June 30, 1985.

2. Began Contributing

   Began contributing before April 1, 1987.

3. Amount Contributed

   Contributed $25–$2700.

4. Completed Service

   Completed your first period of service.

5. Discharge or Release

   Discharged or released from service under conditions other than dishonorable.
