We are currently looking for a Lead Advisor- Capital Management for our San Antonio, TX facility.

As a Lead Advisor- Capital Management for USAA, you will identify and assess asset liability management-related risks and assists in strategy development to achieve the company's financial objectives. You will perform complex financial analysis and reporting functions. Serves as an advisor to management and acts as a subject matter expert on complex capital, business or financial processes. Works with the asset liability committee to recommend and implement methodologies, policies, and operating guidelines for risk assessment and mitigation. Develops and recommends hedging strategies to optimize returns subject to underlying risk tolerances.

Minimum Requirements:

-  Broad and comprehensive knowledge of the principles and theories of finance, accounting and/or other related business fields and disciplines.
-  Proficient with MS office and functionalities of corporate financial systems.
-  Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-  6+ years of progressive financial experience
-  Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

-  4+ years of prior asset liability management or other experience in a financial/investment risk management environment.
-  Masters degree in a quantitative discipline.
-  CFA or other relevant risk management designation.
-  Investment accounting knowledge.
-  Excellent quantitative finance and/or mathematics skills with strong knowledge of fixed income investments, derivatives and ALM strategies.
- Working knowledge of SunGard Convergence.
