Location and team
KEMA's Sustainable Market Strategies group in Burlington, Massachusetts, is seeking a Senior Project Leader to manage energy efficiency and demand response research and analysis projects, ranging from large-scale program evaluations to high-level market planning and policy studies. The person selected for this assignment will provide services for energy utilities, government agencies, and private companies addressing issues of energy management, environmental quality, economic growth, and business success. This person must have the experience and expertise to deliver high quality deliverables on time and on budget.
Tasks may include
- Independently manage large research projects
- Lead a team of analysts, subject matter experts and subcontractors
- Perform quantitative analysis, engineering, program evaluation and/or policy analysis
- Monitor budget and deliverables
- Provide mentorship in the area of quantitative analysis, engineering science, energy efficiency, program evaluation, and/or markets and policy analysis
- Participate in new business development, primarily through proposal writing and some direct sales
What we're asking
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree in energy, economics, statistics or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Successful track record in client management
- Ability to deliver high quality work products in a fast-paced consulting environment
- This position is based in Burlington, MA. Local candidates preferred.
