Systems Services of America, Inc. serves the most popular restaurant chains in the quick service and casual family dining segments in the area of systems foodservice distribution.  SSA is part of the Services Group of America family of companies that specializes in bringing top quality products and services to the entire foodservice industry. That family includes broadline distributor Food Services of America, fresh produce marketer Amerifresh and custom cut meat processor Ameristar Meats.

Support the Finance department on various projects, including:
- Gathering Financial Statements and updated credit documents from SSA customers
- Coordinate with the A/R department for content, accuracy of existing information, and prioritization of customers
- Review and analyze customer financial statements for negative trends and/or diminishing cash flow
- Refine SSA Credit scoring model
- Using SSA Credit scoring model assign a risk score to each franchisee
- Assist with special projects within the Financial Reporting and Analysis Team
- Help refine and develop more robust margin analytics
- Provide analytical support to all SSA Distribution Centers
- Provide support in reconciling and setting up Vendor Marketing and Rebate programs
- Assist in the development of SSA's Annual Operating Plan and Budgets
- Observe and assist in various other projects per interests/goals of internship

- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Finance or Accounting major
- Junior or Senior
- 3.0 GPA or better
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail
- Hours as desired, between 9:00AM and 5:00PM.
- Able to devote a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week
