We are currently seeking talented Mortgage Processing Specialist III for our San Antonio, TX facility.

As a Mortgage Processing Specialist for USAA, you will provide service to members by responding to routine to moderately complex telephone inquiries to complete loan requests. You will gain proficiency in processing mortgage loans and obtaining initial level of conventional or VA mortgage lending authority. You will comply with all bank, investor and regulatory requirements. You will evaluate and process loans on a national basis from point of application through final loan decision.

Ability to work a five day 40 hour work week Monday through Friday from 7:30am-7:00pm (overtime on the weekends as needed).
Ability to attend up to 8 weeks of paid structured classroom training: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of customer service/sales experience OR Bachelors degree OR Successful completion of military service OR 1 year customer service/sales experience plus 30 hours of college credits.
- 1+ years experience multi-tasking in a Windows operating system environment.
- 1+ years experience frequently communicating (minimum 60 percent of the time) with customers by phone, e-mail and/or face to face.

Preferred
- 1+ year financial services industry related customer contact experience.
- Knowledge of windows operating environment and Microsoft Office tools.
- Call center experience.
- Recent mortgage processing experience.
