| Description : | UEC seeks a mid-level Electrical Engineer II to provide engineering support to the organization.
Duties:
- Design, develop, test & debug all aspects of analog & digital electronics for complex assemblies
- Design & troubleshoot AC/DC switching power supplies, environmental (EMI, EMC, thermal, etc) effects
- Engineering, product design & testing embedded applications for a variety of electrical processing devices
- Firmware development in C for embedded
- Plan, execute & document electrical test, validation & certification
- Identify, document, track & resolve electrical defects; Hardware & software design documentation
- Provide technical input for proposals

| Qualifications : | - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
- A minimum of four (4) years of electronics & electromechanical engineering with emphasis on product design and testing of embedded applications for a variety of electrical processing & control devices
- Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices & procedures within the electrical engineering field
- Experience with design & troubleshooting of AC/DC power supplies
- Experience with analog & digital integrated circuit & system design, development, test & debug skills
- Experience with embedded hardware/software debug & troubleshooting skills using a variety of test & measurement equipment
- Experience with design & trouble shooting of environmental (EMI, EMC, thermal, etc) effects
- Experience with various computer-assisted design tools such as PADS
- Experience with FMEA calculations |
