The Brownie's have a QB! The Patriots have a video camera and a fine. Should the Bolts be worried? Talk about last week's upsets and surprises. Don't forget to brag up your teams that won, and discuss your brilliant strategies for picking the Week 3 winners.

If I can up myself just one from last week - I'll be hoppin'! Good stuff!
ed. PS - Anyone think those Packers are for real? I think so,... (I HOPE so...)

Two weeks into the season and still a lot to be sorted out. There are a few things though that I few confident in asserting:
1. The Patriots are the best team in the NFL. Period. Tom Brady is completing 80% of his passes. That’s scary. Amazing what he can do with competent wide receivers. He may be onto one of the best seasons ever by a quarterback.
2. The Bengals defense sucks. 51 points?!?! To the Browns?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! I refuse to call this team a playoff contender until they show something on the defensive side of the ball. And could the media please stop with all the Chad Johnson touchdown celebration pieces. It’s getting a little played out. They aren’t that good. Just score, and be done with it. We don’t need to hear about it every week like the world is waiting for what you’re going to do. We’re all a little tired of it.
3. Tennessee will make the playoffs. They should’ve beaten Indy had Brandon Jones held onto that pass over the middle with about 20 seconds left. They got an easy upcoming schedule. VY just keeps getting better.
Once again no perfect picks in the VAJoe pool this week. There were three who got 13 right, so congrats to you all. I didn’t have all that good of a week, going 10-6. My Rams are looking pathetic, but I’m going to keep sticking by them. That division is just too lousy for them not to win nine games. Steven Jackson has yet to score a TD. I think that changes this week. Saints are struggling and I don’t quite no what to make of them. Either way, it’s a long season. Plenty of time left. No need to panic, yet.
Now onto the picks… (Home team in CAPS)
PATRIOTS over Bills
No brainer here. But while we’re on the subject of the Pats, I’m curious as to what you think about the recent cheating scandal. Is it a big deal? Does it taint their legacy? What about the penalty? Was it too harsh, too soft? Personally, I think it’s over blown, I also think teams do stuff like this all the time. On the Fox pre-game show, Jimmy Johnson said he did the same thing back when he was coaching the Cowboys. He also said he stopped because he didn’t think it helped. Plus he admitted to having his assistant go up into the visitor coaches’ box after the game and get their playbooks out of the trash. Cheating or gamesmanship?
Colts over TEXANS
I think this game could be closer than people realize. Houston is looking awful good, after pounding the Chiefs in week 1 and then beating Carolina on the road. However, the Colts are the defending champs and I don’t think the Texans have ever beat Indy in their existence.
Rams over BUCS
OK, if they lose this one, I’m done with them. I think Steven Jackson will be able to roll over a weakened Tampa O-line. Or at least I hope so.
RAVENS over Cardinals
Cardinals surprised me by winning last week, although if Shaun Alexander doesn’t fumble I doubt that happens. With that being said, I think Matt Lienart is going to get pressured like crazy all day. Look for a lot of ‘Zona turnovers.
Lions over EAGLES
Man was that Monday night football game tough to watch or what? The Eagles run at a Super Bowl appears to have come to an unsuccessful end. Sorry Phili fans.
PACKERS over Chargers
There’s just something about this game that screams upset. Chargers are in disarray. Packers are rolling. There D looks dominant. Favre looks rejuvenated. Game is at Lambeau. One last time, Brett.
STEELERS over 49ers
Pittsburgh is looking great after two weeks. Yes I know, they’ve only played the Browns and the Bills. But it was a Browns team that just put up 51 on Cinnci and a Bills team that was seconds away from beating Denver. AFC sleeper?
CHEIFS over Vikings
The one thing I know about this game: I won’t be watching.
JETS over Dolphins
Jets hung right in there with the Ravens last week. They need to stick with Clemens, Pennington’s time is up. The Dolphins vaunted D got shredded last week. Not a good sign for a team that has no offense.
Bengals over SEAHAWKS
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say what happened last week was a fluke---a fluke that cost me a lot of d**n money by the way. There offense is incredible. Hopefully there defense is at least lousy.
RADIERS over Browns
Oakland has looked very scrappy in each of its first two games, either of which they could’ve won. For some reason, I just don’t think Derek Anderson has another 5 TD game in him. Call me crazy.
BRONCOS over Jaguars
While Denver has been about the least impressive 2-0 team, the Jags barley beat the Falcons at home. Not a good sign, especially when they have to go to Mile High.
REDSKINS over Giants
Best team no one is talking about. There defense is for real.
Panthers over FALCONS
Win, lose, Win, lose. That is pretty much the way every Carolina season goes. And by my calculations, this week should be a win.
BEARS over Cowboys
Cowboys defense has not looked good. I doubt there going to put enough points on the board to win this game. It’s always scary betting on Rex, but what the hell, that defense is just amazing. Plus, they got Devin tha Dude. And they’re at home.
Titans over SAINTS
I have a HUGE man-crush on Vince Young. Yea, I know.

I got Houston for the win this Sunday. And by the way the Texans gave the Colts their 1st lost last year.

I see where Leftwich signed with the Falcons. This might give them a boost at QB. If he plays this week, I would expect him to do good just to PO the Jaguar coaches. Without knowing the Falcon playbook he is better than Harrington.

the giants are my team, but they need to learn to cover and tackle before they win a game.

All I have to say is that the NFC is making a comeback, specifically the Washington Redskins. I didn't read one favorable word about my Skins in either of their first 2 matchups, especially against the "best NFC East team" (who is 0-2 by the way) the Eagles. Now that they are 2-0, it seems that some people are starting to see the light. Win or lose I love the Redskins, but its nice to see them win!! Go Skins!!

Dang ~ The first week I went with who I thought would win.
The second week was a bust because we were out of town and I didn't vote.
This week I decided to go with the teams I WANT to win. (I can't do any worse ) ![]()

Hey all. Just wanted to wish good luck to my Cowboys today and tell you all to take a quick peek at the season standings so far. Yep, that's me at #1! I wanted to point that out because I'm sure I'll crash and burn before long. So, I'll enjoy it while I can so that I can do the whole taunting and excessive celebration thing over my husband and son! Go Cowboys!
