Fort Bragg, located just west of Fayetteville, is one of the largest military complexes in the world and home of the Army's only Airborne Corps, the 82d Airborne Division, the elite Special Forces and the Army's largest Support Command. There are eight on-post schools and one school on Pope Air Force Base that make up the Fort Bragg School System; all of which are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Students living on-post and attending grades 10 - 12 are assigned to the Cumberland County School System.
