Oak Harbor, Washington is home to the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island which is comprised of two sections surrounding Oak Harbor.  The two sections are the main base, Ault Field, and the Seaplane Base.  The Seaplane Base houses the main Navy Exchange, DeCA Commissary, and the majority of housing.  These two sections of the NAS Whidbey Island are five miles apart and supports over 21,000 military personnel and their families.
